I have never been a drinker ( <xxxxxxxxxxxx>~ ) but now that I'm retired and have a fabulous outdoor office shed that looks over Roman burial grounds to the mountains of the Cairngorm National Park, I engage in RP, headphones, G & T, and my other favourite pastime.

I have a nice photo of tonight's libation but can't figure out how to post the URL. I've googled and tried it several times and it's just... not working.
Anyway, I'm having Gin Bothy's Speycast gin with orange zest and Fever Tree tonic. It's a small batch distillery that has some amazing gins and Scottish whisky. Never had gin before moving to Angus, but it's a popular drink with my friends so.... The Bothy provided Gunshot gin for the Academy Awards a couple years ago. Two of these and I'll be quite happy!
There's a commercial for Fever Tree claiming that 2/3rds of your cocktail is tonic. Not in this house it's not.

I find Maker's harsh. My current favorite is Evan Williams Bottled-In-Bond; very smooth sipping whiskey.
I'm on both end of that rainbow. I love a drink that has a nice bite to it, but I also like a smooth drink.
Mind you, I don't find Maker's harsh. I'll have to see if I can find any Evan Williams, as the USA liquor they're clearing here is going fast.
I've messaged William and he blocked him once when he had only 4 usernames but has not replied since Mr. Spam returned with 6 usernames...Pretty sure it is exotraxx back to haunt us...Sad.
It's not even "spam" (he's not hawking shoes or any other products), it's just flat-out trolling.
