Hi, All!
Long time listener and supporter from London. First post here -
One thing I could never figure out is how RP manages the World time zones. Is the programming shifted depending on where the listener is in the world, or is it all the same or some other variant?
Pretty sure it's the same wherever you are.
Based on a similar comment / q I posted a long time ago - iirc I'd asked something about why have something so upbeat in early hours of morning. Reply from someone (not Bill) was that it was same playlist for everyone.
I remember thinking then that it might be set for the largest group of listeners, presumably US based - but even there the 3 hr time spread would likely cause complications. So then I decided not to worry about it.

I'm a Jeff Beck fan. I haven't been able to find a quality recording of Jeff at the Montreux Jazz Festival 2001. If anyone knows where I can get a very good recording with video please let me know. I'm happy to pay. I insist actually.
Anyway, here's Brush with the Blues and Loose Canon. It's nuts how good it is (although low quality recording... sorry).
This needs to be cranked especially Loose Canon! (starts at 5:00).
since the submission request page seems to be done (or has been down for a while), I'll leave this here as a future submission:
it's got a jazzy Chuck Mangione 70s disco feel to it.
Not right now. The system was buggy so they took it down. I believe they're working on a fun new thing that might allow us to submit our favorites again.
My first submission performed by a French Celtic quartet I saw playing in the Toronto Music Garden during the summer of 2019, quirky, catchy and just downright awesome. New album out now as well as this EP. Recommended listening IMO
Bill, I'm not sure if you saw the other thread about music submissions, so I'll try here, too. And while I'm asking questions.... why do emoticons go underneath the text, instead of next to it? And it doesn't seem to work if you type in the emoticon. BillG wrote:
There's an initial review step before things show up on the 'reviewing' list. So if I submit a couple of songs, will you listen to them and see whether you like them or not? The ones I submitted don't show up on the long list, but I see them under "My Submissions." How many songs do you "review" on average a day, or per week ?

On your FAQ, the question "Do you mind if I stream RP in my store/shop?" is the text of "How do the artists you play get paid?". Somehow, I don't think that the single answer applies to both.
Love Radio Paradise and seldom listen to any other 'radio station'. Whilst I realise that the choice of play list is Bill and Rebecca's as its their station, I do wonder about the selection process, do they listen to every track submitted? Do they make choices based on " gee we've got loads of that artist, don't want anymore" Are there whole catagories of music they don't particularly like? or too much of a particularly genre? It would be interesting to get a handle on just a fraction of the process before I submit anymore....track record is 27 submitted 0 accepted, some are still sitting there and may be will get taken up laters....I'll still listen as its a good station.
Probably not, otherwise my last submission would have been an instant add
