People are saying that the Todd show is really really good.
OTOH, some folks on Reddit aren’t.

I went with my fellow NJ Todd fans. I thought the show was outstanding! I actually liked that he played more "current" material vs the older stuff. He pulled out some gems. For a 76 year old rocker he showed great energy and his voice was in great form.  The usual backing band of Kasim Sulton, Prairie Prince, Bobby Strickland, Gil Assayas and the guitar player (name escapes me) were tight and fun to watch. I always wonder with each show of his I see if it will be his last. He closed with Last Ride and Fade Away, could be clues.

Yeah, he was just here right before on April 27.  Couldn't get tickets.

Just saw the set list(s).  Not a thrilling show for me and the venue here for the next one is not the best either.

Neko is looking more interesting.

Neko would be my choice.

Check the setlists for the shows on Todd’s tour. He is not playing many of the usual classics/favorites and that bothered some a little. I saw him May 14 and liked the show.  Your date is after a break, so show might be different.

A Blockbuster Vermeer Exhibition Worth A Trip To Amsterdam

A once-in-a-lifetime treat that’s well worth the trip.

“There will never be another Vermeer show as great as this one,” exclaims the Washington Post, calling it “an international act of veneration,” and “the show of a lifetime,” for Vermeer admirers.

“It’s Now or Never: The Rijksmuseum’s Hotly Anticipated Blockbuster Vermeer Show Is Finally Here—and It’s Unmissable,” Artnet enthuses.

“This is an exhibition to die for – or even in, like the character in Proust who expires in front of Vermeer’s ‘View of Delft,’” writes The Guardian. “Proust was once so excited to see a Vermeer show that he collapsed. So take it easy if you get to see this gathering of practically all his masterpieces....This is more than an exhibition. It’s a miracle.”

Actually that's the reason for the trip. Not that I'm a huge Vermeer fan but my cousin contacted me saying they were going and had booked a place with room for others. Then one thing let to another and I'm headed around the world. That is if I survive the plane trips.

I'll send you a postcard

There are photos of me wandering around Switzerland in lederhosen but in my defence I was 7 years old.

I want to travel by train so Greta Thurnberg doesn't hunt me down me for taking those cheap carbon-spewing flights.
