To fund TSA, all Republicans have to do — LITERALLY ALL THEY HAVE TO DO — is agree that ICE must obey the Constitution: i.e. they can't just arbitrarily shoot people down in the street or detain and deport people without due process. That's literally it. That's the whole thing. And they WILL NOT AGREE to that bare minimum.
So, keep it all shut down until they do. Hold the line. It's already painful for US, make it painful for THEM.
Immigration agents arrested a Columbia University student after misrepresenting themselves to access a building, the school said.
Claire Shipman, the universityâs acting president, said that Columbia officials believed that the federal agents had misrepresented themselves to gain access to the building, saying that they were searching for a âmissing person.â
âWe are working to gather more details,â she wrote.
A state assemblyman said he had been told by university officials that the federal agents presented themselves as Police Department officers.
