The identities of the individuals were not immediately known, but the banner they flew from the building reads, "When the power of love beats the love of power the world knows peace."
when your dog sees you meditating and quietly snuggles up next to your leg
just the fact that another sentient being wants to share the same space and vibe

I guess that first love thing is as old as mankind. It seems to be what karma must be. All our most dear and unfulfilled wishes keep following us. And if it comes to meeting a childhood love, and that wish is mutual, then it's a sure thing for both to experience again. I've had that experience with my first love, which originally lasted from my being 15 to 20 yrs. of age. When it was finished back then, I was simply destroyed for years to come, couldn't ever fall in love again, or so I'd thought. Time told differently. Long story short, we met again after some 20plus years, and it was like we never parted, whenever we kept meeting each other over the following years, living in different places, each having their own family, we both could be as close, as ever. When I was in my first relationship with her as a youth, I'd always thought she was gonna be my lifetime partner, although she'd left me when I was 20 something. - This last year, she died of cancer. I am still in touch with her younger brother, as he always looked at me as the older brother he never had.
