Cool! We have a couch to surf, in Littleton so it's a bit of a hike but... I'll be up front by the time Dawes comes on, usually left-center of the stage.

Awesome, indeed. Jon is firing on all cylinders and the addition of Chris Clark to the Band Geeks (although they're all ultra talented as well) cranked it all up a notch.
I'm hoping that they also start playing Jon's solo work, like Olias material or his stuff with Vangelis. The fans would be up for it, I reckon.
I'll be there on Saturday as well. My oldest best friend is coming up from Texas for the show & a couple days of backpacking after, else I'd offer you our spare room. We live about 15 minutes south of the event site.
oh wow. That's in the center city. Have a blast, fellers!

Ray Wylie Hubbard at the Bluebird Theater in August. We saw him there last year as well. Ray is a great live show, I catch him whenever I can here in Denver or when I'm down in Texas.
Outside Days in Denver at the end of May. We're only going to the Saturday day because the Giants are in town...

Sixteenth row in SF upcoming.
This will bookend my Bruce experience. Saw him for Darkness and River (this clip is from that period) and many many times for Amnesty. First concert for my older boy, who named his son Bruce.
As much as I love Isbell, I don't know that I'm willing to go too far out of my way to see him live again. He's so...polished. $1500 is NUTS.
I saw him for the first time at red rocks last summer...entertaining, and there was some magic moments, but other times I found myself looking over at the denver skyline.
Yes, it's Michael Shannon the actor, and Jason Narducy who has played with Bob Mould a lot. And a bigger surprise, Bobcat Goldthwait opened for them, and he was spectacular!

I don't listen to his recordings because I don't need added depression but I was very impressed to be in the room with him and the 400 Unit. Other configurations might not be as captivating. Plus a fight broke out in the front rows so that was fun.

I thought about going to see Isbell but a glance at the good seats and they're up to $1500. I've never been but $90 to sit on the grass isn't exactly right, either.
Rev. Horton Heat with the Surfrajettes is a possibility up in Billings. $30 for some dopey fun.

The Horton Heat show is on our radar. We saw him here in Casper in 2019 and it was outstanding.
Audrey lives in Lakewood now. Her apartment is about 15 minutes from Red Rocks, which does invite some...issues.
Flaming Lips have been toward the top of my must-sees for 30± years. Maybe.

We've got friends with a spare room in Littleton; I might try to bribe them with baseball tickets if we can crash there... otherwise oh man the hotel prices. When we were in Dublin, people were always agog at the hotel prices but Dublin's cheaper than Aurora.
I'm there for the Flaming Lips; I know if they're at a festival and not headlining, it'll be a less than ideal event, but...

We thought about this one, but too many obstacles. Haven't yet gotten to see ANY of the other acts, but we did catch Karina Rykman last fall and she was great.
