I never understood the 'groundbreaking' nature of this cover. This song was always a rap song. It was just Steven Tyler rapping. And it doesn't sound much different than the original. So what's the big deal?
I saw Aerosmith warming up Blue Oyster Cult at the Aragon theater in Chicago back in '73. They were so high, they ruined their act. Got booed off the stage. Now, I respect their body of work, but back then? Nope. This cover is really good too BTW.

All I can picture is the music video for this!
An ex-girlfriend (non-asian) used to be a waitress at a Chinese restuarant. When either version of this tune would come on, on the radio in the kitchen, all of the cooks in the kitchen, even those that did not speak English, would sing "Wok This Way" loudly. The customers would clap loudly & sing along!

I was a huge fan of both of these bands from different eras back in the day. I was blown away when they got together and (re) made this gem.
