I do like this song. But every time I hear it I have flashbacks to Spinal Tap’s Gimme Some Money.
I like this message and the smile it brings. 
I want to try to like him, but at best I can only muster a "meh". Just my thoughts, but smart enough to realize he is a good musician and this is my personal preferences.
This song started playing as I was looking at the registration form for free tickets for Batiste's Austin City Limits taping.

This man has talent in several different styles of music!
