The only thing more insufferable than the endless 'licks', are the Santana fan boys who cannot abide even a moment of debate about their guitar hero.
AY CARLITOS!!!!!
DIOS MIIIIIIIIIO!
i only like old school Santana, the collaborations with say, Rob Thomas, were too slick.  i'll take 70s Santana any day!

Sounds like you are old enough to know better!

Blow that horn, mofo...!
EXCELLENT!!!
A Santana track that I can go along with...but you can stick that Oye Como Va where the sun don't shine...(sorry, even having to type that induces a medium amount of rage)...

Carlos S. and Neil S. just freakin rock on this and the ryhthmn section is mind blowing. You get high on the guitar work and moving the body on the tempo.

This is what R&D is about!!!

This song is 40+ years old!

Half a century now.  OMG.
wasn't a fan Of Santana as a kid when these were all new . Now acknowledge there huge contribution to bringing latin rhythms to the Rock scene of its day and appreciate them much more.

Some very tasty chops from Carlos.

From a great musical soul. How many kick your ass angels can dance that gracefully on the head of a pin?

I always wondered who played that anemic trumpet solo about half way through. Very uncharacteristic of this band.
This brings back HS memories. Not knowing a word of Spanish I absolutely loved this song. Where does that guitar feeling come from?
Best of early Santana's albums. Jeden z najlepszych albumów Santany z początku dzialalnosci
Guajira es una cancion muy viva. El cantor esta rogando a la chica guajira bailar con el. A bailar todos!
I'll see those 34 and raise it 25.

That's somewhat drastic, or hyperbolic.  Which everything else are you referring to? My everything else is that this is a track one hears en route to musical heaven.

Couldn't agree more! I don't personally think Santana is played too often here on RP...but I do think that whenever there's a great flow going on a tune of which he's anticipating a solo...he's always noodling and filling areas that don't need it. Almost like he doesn't know when to shut up. Especially when there's vocals present. This song isn't too bad though...

I spent the last year taking portraits of guest appearing on the BBC's Breakfast News, for the programs website. The collection was then turned into a one off, 12x12 book which was auctioned for Children In Need, raising a tidy sum of money for the charity. It was a fun and a challenging project. I thank all the guest who were so generous and patient in allowing me to get the shot I needed. Here are some of those shots.

Dear Felix,

Not to worry, this was a compliment - an English one. See, the English (we know that Arserocket is English because he says 'arse' and not 'ass') say that something is the ' dog's bollocks'  when they really, really like it. I don't know why that is, but anyway, it was a compliment.

And I love the song, too.

HAHAHA, OK OK, NOW I GOT IT, BEST FROM THE WET (AND A BIT COLD NOW ) BUENOS AIRES

A marginal improvement on his other dross....but he comes close to spoiling it all at the long awaited end.
