superflyLD if you're still out there.... We attended such a show years ago in NYC, former Bottom Line club in the village... Michelle Shocked, who my wife & I both adore(d). 

Note to self: if you're ever a musician, do not turn on the crowd. They're much bigger than you.

And this also demonstrates how RP listeners-commenters tend to be far more civil than the rest of the webiverse. I braced myself for: "... but then this came on so I'm not contributing!!" which let's face it would be typical of too much social media commentary.

Yep, you can always tell Mazzy Star's distinctive voice and delivery. The first signs are usually the head drooping, followed by eyelids lowering and a creeping sleepiness that moves towards a waking coma.
