There's a natural mystic
Blowing through the air
If you listen carefully now you will hear
This could be the first trumpet
Might as well be the last
Many more will have to suffer
Many more will have to die
Don't ask me why
Things are not the way they used to be
I won't tell no lie
One and all got to face reality now

Though I try to find the answer
To all the questions they ask
Though I know it's impossible
To go living through the past
Don't tell no lie
There's a natural mystic
Blowing through the air
Can't keep them down
If you listen carefully now you will hear
Such a natural mystic
Blowing through the air

This could be the first trumpet
Might as well be the last
Many more will have to suffer
Many more will have to die
Don't ask me why
There's a natural mystic
Blowing through the air
I won't tell no lie
If you listen carefully now, you will hear
There's a Natural Mystic blowing through the air

Such a Natural Mystic, blowing through the air
There's a Natural Mystic, blowing through the air
Such a Natural Mystic, blowing through the air
Such a Natural Mystic, blowing through the air
Such a Natural Mystic, blowing through the air

Yes, this was fantastic.  I could hear that transition looped for ten minutes and have a smile on my face throughout.  Cheers, RP.

It’s a great soundtrack that one - rivals harder they come maybe

Never mistake simplicity for lack of skill.  It takes huge skill to make things look - or sound - simple. Ask any athlete at their peak or professional  musician

Simplicity is not to be mistaken for low skill. The simplicity of rhythm serves a particular purpose. Fortunately for lovers of this sound, the purpose is quite pleasurable. And carries a revolutionary message.

Hey sweet RP, you couldn't be hitting my mellow any better tonight.  Life was never so good since I found you in my ears and life.!  XXOO  And I REALLY mean that!

Yea, Mon. Bob's reggae beats are beyond comparison, and intricacies pass most a dem commuters by... for sure.
Revelations are to be had by those, who seek them. It has always been like that. Or so it seems, lest some new stories of un-seeking persons...

Nah, I'd have to go with some of the music commenters I see here.
I don't recall this being on Legend.  Were there multiple releases under this name? I'm not a reggae superfan, but I like some, and this is definitely nice.  Simple and uplifting.

Edit: Ahh, just after I posted this, I saw that the metadata doesn't match the image.  Ignore the first two sentences of my post.

Hypercritical I can be, but when it comes to Bob, I have almost no discernment.  Irae y'all.

That's reggae...    On top of it, Marley, (and his fellow Selassie worshipers), are sexist, homophobic, misogynist, anti-Semites.    Pass.

Maybe someday RP will play some reggae that isn't Bob Marley.  Every Bob Marley song has been overplayed so many times it's painful to hear them hardly ever.  Please rate low on the principal of overplay.

Beautiful comment! I hope when you'll find out three chords in this song, it becomes better for you (tripled).

Great way to end my day.. ahhhhh..
Fantastic groove. Funktastic horns. Crankin' up the volume. Great segue from the previous tune.

Not arguing your point, but while we're at it, how's about we finally retire that cranky, tired phrase, "Politically Correct?" Is there a more "knee jerk" response than to saddle up the PC label?
Perfect start for the goodness that is "Exodus". :good-vibes.gif:

Or maybe we're just tired of hearing the same riff time and time again on every single Bob Marley song. But, hey, I must congratulate you and your enlightenment -- way to illegitimize real struggles against racism with ungrounded hyperbole about a simple music taste.

Reggae is not just three chords. It is a mood, a feeling. What would music be if it did not evoke emotion from those who listen to it? We are not all scientists, talking about music in theory. Go visit a Carribean island, stay there for awhile and relax, and then tell me that reggae does not establish a mood and a feeling for you!
reggae sucks :P
