Streets ahead! Doesn't have the depressing downturn at the end of each phrase that seems to be Natalie's trademark. She sounds much fresher and more dynamic, without any affectations. Very pleasing.

Guitarists talk about tone all the time.  Tone, tone, tone.  Gets a little tiresome.  Then I come across a piece like this, with tone that expresses something quite apart from the melody.  Hard to define, but straight to the core.

Seen Solas live at least 3x in Minneapolis. Saw Karen Casey solo also, at The Cedar, worlds best music venue. Last time was their Montanta record.
