Wow!I first heard this song in 1957;  a six-year-old riding with his parents in the family Oldsmobile. I asked my mother how one could have a broken heart. Thanks for the memories.

I bought my Dad the "Cattle Call" album by Eddie Arnold who wrote this song,  in 1963.

Nowhere near my favorite Patsy Cline song, which means I can only give it an 8. Owen Bradley is a polarizing figure, to be sure (see Buddy Holly), but he did fine work with Patsy Cline (kd lang, too)

One of my mother's favourite songs. Haven't heard it in years. I thought it was corny when I was a kid.

Haven't heard this before...sadly, haven't heard much Patsy at all. Lovely voice, great arrangement for the time.
