They love me like I was a brother
They protect me, listen to me
They dug me my very own garden
Gave me sunshine, made me happy

Nice dream, nice dream
Nice dream

I call up my friend, the good angel
But she's out with her answerphone
She says she would love to come help but
The sea would electrocute us all

Nice dream, nice dream
Nice dream, nice dream
Nice dream, nice dream
Nice dream

If you think that you're strong enough
If you think you belong enough
If you think that you're strong enough
If you think you belong enough

(Just as well Just as well Just as well)

Nice dream, nice dream
Nice dream, nice dream

"Nice string, nice string, nice string."
Thank you!! beautiful song :)))
Radiodread to Radiohead. That's why I listen. Well, it's one of many, many reasons I listen. I think my guilty conscience is telling me to make another donation.
#ListenerSupported.
Radiohead also has a "nursery rymes" CD that cam e out in the 2000's.
Always sends one, doesn’t it? Just a knack RH have…
The bends is one of the best albums of the past 30 years…
"Less string, less string, less string."

LOL - I've "been there, done that" - in fact somewhere along the line I've gone +1 to 9 even.  I've also found the youtuber 'Key of Geebz' aka 'the Decomposer'  has done some informative reactions to a lot of RH's stuff, and that has helped me realize the genius of RH's music too.  LLRP!!

Has he ever actually suffered from the bends?  This might be a reaction to some lingering trauma.
Guitar opening a bit squeaky here. They went with it anyway
I'm not normally a Radiohead fan. I do give them props for some of their more out there music. I don't find it pleasant to listen to but it is interesting. This song falls more under the pleasant category although it does pick up.

Not so keen on their newer material, I meant.  My scale ends in the same place as everyone else's.  Facetious...

The Bends is an awesome album.  i prefer the 'singable' early Radiohead to the more recent work.

I'm aware that Kino's singer is a baritone, while Thom Yorke is not. Listen to the guitars and arrangement. Could be my imagination but I don't think so.

Actually it's why the PSD button was invented.

Rained out of a hiking day at the gorge; under a tarp with enough wood for 6 hours I’ll be spending my afternoon with this excellent community of RP. As for my day of hiking, this song says it all: Nice Dream

Love this radio! Your repertoire is wonderful! A hug from Brazil!
Fantastic song. Nice and easy to play as well.

I tend to appreciate artists who strive to deviate from "normal" things in music (structure, chord changes, lyrics, etc.). "Normal" music, (e.g. The Eagles, Tom Petty) often doesn't interest me as much.  I'm not a huge fan of Radiohead but this is a good tune, even if it is relatively "normal" for them.

NOT groovy. Yecchh.
Just saw them live in Chicago on Saturday - INCREDIBLE show. It's a small North American. tour but worth your while if you can get to one of the shows...
I support RP!!! Just for this reason!!!!! {#Group-hug}

It was worth waiting until that mad and interesting guitar solo started. Perhaps they should have recorded only that solo...

I heard the word, however I cannot believe that Tom Yorke has ever used the word "happy" in his life. I am confused. The world has become even more unpredictable, Trump, Yorke,...where will it end ?

Based on your comment I'd say you might want to educate yourself Re: Tom Yorke before making further comments regarding said Mr. Yorke..

A solid "1" for Thom Yorke and the One-Trick-Pony Band !
Dang.

Gotta close RP now so i can go listen to that album.
Best song to wake up to.{#Cowboy}
The record is 20 years old. Unbelievable. Time flies
Nice nice.
fingernails on a chalkboard
....brilliant, sublime, beautiful...
Always nice to hear a tune from one of their 2 good albums.
I love when Bill plays Radiohead. I'll spend the next 5 songs reading through all the haters hating on the lovers, and the lovers hating on the haters. Can get quite amusing!

Oh, and the song is just plain Outstanding.
This is actually quite a normal song, with a normal structure, normal chord changes, normal melody, normal time signature etc.

Are we sure this is Radiohead?

I coughed up a 6 for this track..."pretty good" as they say.

One of my all-time favorite songs.
Weird; I  played The Bends CD 20mins ago , this one was the last before I turned it off.
Brilliant, underrated song. 10

yeah, great.

Awesome. . .

I decided to be nice and rate this Ho Hum but I find it pretty annoying.

The word is "drivel".

I don't completely disagree with you, but before you race to conclusions about how it might be perceived, read the RP rules of engagement, particularly the one that says "play nice".

This whole album is superb from beginning to end. I think they can definitely be compared to Porcupine Tree in regards to their ethereal nature of weaving songs and energy together to transcend the ordinary. However, Porcupine Tree has captured my heart with way more enthusiasm than Radiohead has. Plus, PT just flat out rocks. They can be as light as a cloud and then as heavy as a thunderstorm spitting hail!

Good summation.  I enjoy some Radiohead, but there's something about PT that really grabs me.  Hard to get too much PT in my opinion.

My favorite Radiohead album by far- reminds me of camping in Savannah next to these people who had this album and the Sublime self-titled. They played them until late late at night and my fiance and I fell asleep to this one. Beautiful memories-
I thought they were singing about less string!

I'm in the opinion range of acceptable, I once owned this CD and another Radiohead CD and I traded it in at one of those used CD shops. I'm a music collector and it is very uncommon for me to part with members of my collection, Radiohead just does not connect with my Parrothead.
