So, probably Hindi, but maybe some Maori in there too since she's pretty well-rounded as far as languages go. I have no idea what Maori sounds like, so I'll go look it up!

If you like this then you really should get hold of the DVD. If you're open-minded to what they were trying to achive then it will leave you emotionally challenged. It's even better with a big screen and loud sound system.

This album was introduced to me by my closest friend at the time, and became a turning point in my life when I was really at rock bottom. Time heals, friends move on, but emotions never leave, even if you wanted them to.

Started with a 4 and ended up at 7

Might be Sanskrit.

If this is one of the better tracks on this release, I'm not impressed.
It sounds like a poor-man's Radiohead married a poor-man's Coldplay, and invited a poor-man's Death Cab For Cutie for a threesome.
But I'm willing to be shown to be wrong ... if there's a better track. 

Add "Daphne" to your rotation.  My favorite song.  The DVD version is better than the one on the CD, but I'll take either!  Wonderful concept album.  So much better than "What About Me?" (the 2nd 1GL release).  I hope they have more coming!

I recommend the whole cd- there are some interesting songs on this.  My Culture, with Robbie Williams is my favourite track.

This is exactly why I listen to RP - I've discovered SO MUCH since making this my daily station.  You won't hear beauties like this on mainstream radio!

R.E.M. is an awful dated college band that thinks they are gods. Yes, I've met them and seen them plenty since 1984. Not one good thing to say about them. I turn off anything with Michael "Tripe". Whine all the time. 

Phenomenal concept album. (DVD is cool as well.)

I've always liked this "collaboration". Just yesterday friend of mine posted the simple comment of "I Love Dreaming!" and I said, "And I Love the way you dream!" I then went to share a video and found there are as many strange and weird version of videos as there are in the versions I heard of the song.

I've long considered Stipe, a great writer and lyricist, a middle of the road vocalist, akin to, say, Jagger. They have voices suitable for what they do, but you wouldn't ask them to join Ella for a remake of the Gershwin songbook. These voices are their most telling on quiet passages—you can't shout your way through something you have trouble singing. Stipe's voice on this song is surprisingly melodious, a good thing.

Perfect song for my Friday evening unwind from a hard day at work..

A lovely mélange of influences: Indian, trip-hop, techno, and more I'm sure, with more flavours than a tub of tutti-frutti. Intriguing - only on RP. Reminds me of the sort of mix that Cheb i Sabbah would do. 8 from the Nottingham jury.

I'm on record as making fun of this song, but it's really grown on me. I like it a lot.

I definitely prefer this version to the other one in RP's library. Much prettier, and Michael Stipe sounds vocally smoother in this version.

I'm surprised by the low ratings and whiny comments. This is a lovely, dreamlike track.

Tempted to post something like 1 Giant Heap but I'll give it another listen before I do that.  Right now it's barely holding a 6.
