Harry Manx is cool though; nice slinky tune.
Saw him last night at "The GreatClub" in Sydney downunder. What a master. A selfless & humble performer.

The Manx cat breed originated on the Isle of Man, as did Harry.
Thereby hangs a tail....... or not
By other nations do you mean Canada? Are you saying the RP listeners are the "dumbed down Americans"? Manx is wonderful, but this hardly qualifies as music from other nations, Manx is a Canadian who spent a decade or two traveling and learning. If this is music "from other nations" than so are songs like Paul Simon's "Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes"
Solid 7 or 8, Manx can play.
Wow that's eclectic, born on the Isle of Man, hails from Canada, playing sitar on "Afghani Raga."

I am told that, like the Comanches, they simply refer to themselves as "humans". Or maybe a better translation is "people". I find that touchingly beautiful in its childlike innocence.
think of this as an ode to the ugly american, lederer and burdick.

Teetering right on the edge of an ethnic slur...and diving in with a Forward Flying Double. Love the "!!!" flourish.
Yes....perfection. I saw him once, too. I couldn't stop being impressed. He's a wonderful live performer.
indeed
Some music gets past that shit.....this tune is one of them. It amplifies wherever you're at, be that lovin or hateful. Go on with that.
That's deep. Peace out.
Everybody in my church loves this music...
Hari "Mukesh" Manx!
Did you know that he is working part-time at your local Motel-6?

From an earlier comment on HM:
>It's callled a 'Mohan Veena' after it's creator and looks like a regular guitar - only it's got a whack of sympathetic strings which >resonate or can be strummed (the silvery sound). The whammy is all Harry's fingers and a tad of talent
