Say goodnight and go
Skipping beats, blushing cheeks
I am struggling
Daydreaming bed scenes in
The corner cafe
And then I'm left in bits
Recovering, tectonic trembling
You get me every time
Why'd you have to be so cute?
It's impossible to ignore you
Must you make me laugh so much?
It's bad enough we get along so well
Say goodnight and go
Follow you home
You've got your headphones on
And you're dancing
Got lucky, beautiful shot
You're taking everything off
Watch the curtains, wide open
And you fall in the same routine
Flicking through the TV
Relaxed and reclining
And you think you're alone
Oh, why'd you have to be so cute?
It's impossible to ignore you
Must you make me laugh so much?
It's bad enough we get along so well
Say goodnight and go
One of these days
You'll miss your train and come stay with me
It's always say goodnight and go
We'll have drinks and talk about things
And any excuse to stay awake with you
You'd sleep here, I'd sleep there
But then the heating may be down again
At my convenience
We'd be good, we'd be great together
(Go)
Why'd you have to be so cute?
It's impossible to ignore you
Must you make me laugh so much?
It's bad enough we get along so well
Say goodnight and go
(Why is it always, always?)
Goodnight and go
(Darling, not again)

Back to back with Ray La Montagne and Imogen would bring the world to a halt as like The Day The Earth Stood Still -
Another cool track from Imogen. Innovative and unique music.
I second that comment. Imogen Heap is the best thing happening in music. Play more of her, plesae, RP.
Teeny bopper? you must have Lady Gaga confused with this great artist.

That has to be the great Jeff Beck playing some wicked guitar licks in this track, I like the innovative production a lot.... but the lyrics are really bland... teeny bopper music as some have pointed out.

NO
I really like her music, especially the more mature recent album, I just wish she would take singing lessons.

I agree....this is teeny-bopper pop music! Even the lyrics are tenny-bopper. Ugh!
Sounds like a Britney Spears song... not a good one.

Really looking forward to her new album!!
Is this song, like, about how she's really into this cute guy but she knows she just oughta "say goodnight and go" instead of, you know, you know........
ick
Is this the Jonas Brothers?
This is sweet :)
Not anywhere near the same kind of emotion and lyrical quality of her first album, but not horrible in any way.
It's nice to see that she's gotten a bit more diverse in her music. I Megaphone was very lacking in a dynamic range, and kind of sounded like a knock-off Tori Amos which, actually, she did pretty well... Regardless, good song, decent album - hope she comes out with something that's a little more unique next go-around

Thanks for the info. DRM was the only reason I didn't buy this when it came out and I've often wished I had the album.

Saw Immi perform this on David Letterman a while back. Now don't get me wrong, I love Immi's work and this song in particular is wonderful but her performance just didn't gel for me, at least not this song and this performance.
I saw that on YouTube. I gave her credit for network-debut jitters, but I still liked the heck out of it. But the fact that she's a gorgeous, ultra-tall brunette might have swayed my opinion...

Wow! If I were diabetic, I'd need some insulin after listening to this song.

Amazing she did (most) of it herself. Check out this utubia: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSIbfzK2spg
Guitar on this song is Jeff Beck, by the way.
I'm sort of iffy on this one. 6 for now.

I was waiting and hoping you would add this one! Another favorite off this album.
Cool - My upload made it !! Saw her do this live on Letterman a couple of weeks ago....excellent !
