Someone writes a song. Someone likes it. Someone else doesn't. What's the problem? The song? The people? Can't have one without the other. Music. Some people love it, some people are dead.
He's a living legend.  Get over it...appreciate it....respect it!  But it's okay if you don't like it.  Music, religion, politics...they are all personal trips..

 Good song! Bob Dylan is not afraid to try different rhythms, and he is very successful. Love this album. {#Bananajam}

Yea, I got way too negative there, so I deleted the comment; it's just that the song is bad. Perhaps if Ethel Merman made a cover, I would enjoy it more.

My God! Who wouldn't!
No one has the remarkable intonation, phrasing, and inflection of Zimmy. He is the utter master at that. Some of you will just have to get over his nasality and learn to understand what he's saying.
All your lovin I miss lovin...

That wasn't a request, just a statement of fact. No more RP, only RB (Radio Bob).

Gack: I like electric laDYLANd as much as the next girl, but if I hear Bob sing once more in my lifetime it'll be one time too many. :Gack

    Ya know, you can pisz and whine about anything you want all day long to who ever among your friends will listen but why not just give it a rest here. I'm personally not surprised at all by the music you rate well. A lot of it fits the baby pool depth of your comments/ideas. But I don't jump on the pages of your bubble gum faves and crow on about how juvenile and empty they are, though it might be fun. So do us a solid for once, take your little plastic shovel and sand bucket to the kiddie end of the pool and STFU

Is it just me or does he sound a little like Tom Waits on this track?

This almost hurts my soul... I want to be a Dylan fan to the end.. but ouch? a lot of good stuff and experience which I can sort of hear... but I am confused with this?  Ohh... Bob, Peter, Bob... that is cute.............

Plan to change RP's name to Radio Bob: All Bob, All the TIME.

Yes! You heard it here first; h9x wants RP to play Dylan all the time. I think he's finally coming around.

Sign him up for next year's superbowl half-time show I say.
Lay Lady Lay, lay across your big brass bed. Now, cmon, Dylan wrote some really great lyrics, some catchy tunes, in days gone by, so I'll give him a break and smile, but sorry I won't be buying this album.

The song is good, but the "singing" is AWFUL. If it wasn't Dylan, nobody would give it a second listen.

I agree, but another way to look at it is, what a masterful songwriter he must be to have this song still sound good with a pneumatic frog doing the vocals!{#Lol}

Isa called rock 'n' roll!
(Give it a listen sometime...)

You were born in 1978 and your post is barely literate. Those 2 observations go a long way(for me) towards explaining why you don't get Dylan. I know I sound like a crotchety old crank ...guilty!

If you'd bother listening to his sixties and seventies records, then maybe you'd answer your own question.

It's time for Bob to stop "singing."

His voice has gone a bit now....but he did "speak for a generation" once.....

Got an idea; try getting by the horrible voice and actually listen to these songs; they have absolutely nothing to do with 1965 in style, lyrics or musical content!{#No}

I don't think this song would be played here if were by anyone other than Bob Dylan.

   Yes he has, but Mr. Dylan never comes back to the same place. Dylan has been a faithful constant companion for over 40 years now, constantly evolving. I certainly believe in different strokes for different folks but Dylan is considered by many to be the greatest song-writer of all time. (ask Paul Simon ) Perhaps people don't care for Dylan because they just don't understand his genius i.e.....Because we don't like something it has no redeeming value — ah, it's all too American.

Bob is King.  Some folks just don't get it.
Am I the only one to recognize that this is a (lousy) rip-off of Gary Moores "All your love" (from Still Got The Blues) or could it really be that Mr Dylan wrote this in the first place? I'd be more than surprised ...  {#Ask}

I like this better than his old stuff.
try to forget who wrote it & what he did in the past & enjoy it!
that's the way dylan lives too, i think...
{#Dancingbanana}

Still love this in my amazon basket!
Hard to believe this is the man who wrote "Like a Rolling Stone" and " Along the Watchtower". I gave it a 3. Sorry Dylan fans and yes, he is a genius, but not here with this.

  There are so many layers to Dylan's stuff and double the ways to appreciate it. this is proven by the fact that no one has the same explanation of what they hear in his songs. A surface view will never see the light he shines. I'll admit it's a little shadowy these days. But as long as a person flits over the surface looking for pop hooks or jingo-jango tunes they'll always be disappointed. be assured his stuff has more merit than most out there including stuff I see people giving 10's and copious deluded bananas. If a person doesn't want to look for the merit, fine. But it's a mistake to announce publicly Dylan's stuff is thin. It's shallow and obvious.
Only as a means of explaining how some may love this man, not directing anybody's experience - check out Van Gogh's painting of work boots. on the surface it's not special. The color seems odd, the worn shape maybe cartoonish. It's not just of the boots that were on the floor though. The fascination of the painting is in the experience of the boots, where they've been, what they've done. Pass that now and come to Van Gogh's impression of the shoes. So many layers in a simple picture. Dylan saw more of this world than most people when he was just in his 20's. He's been around the block now and seen a lot more. Wisdom suggests a person listen and learn.

Well said. {#Cheers}

DEFINITELY depends on whose ears they are.

ARGHH awful and dreadful aural torture

Oh the sounds of bleeding vocal chords. Ewwwwww.

The song title must be a statement regarding its content. . .

On a positive note, it has an ending one. {#Clap}
IT may be Bob Dylan, but it's crap

It's all affect, because he's lost his creativity and he's scrambling for something "new" which ,in his old age, he doesn't realize has been done to death by everyone better than him who came before.

Thanks for being there, Bob.

Damn!  Bill doesn't half like this song!  Neutral
If you want blues, why would you go to Dylan?

If I lived on another planet and didn't know who Bob was, I would wonder what it was that humans SAW in him.  Sadly, I'm from this planet (I think) and I still don't "get" Bob's style.  LOVE his songwriting, just not his performances....

Amazingly, this doesn't suck.
good song , great video{#Roflol}
Not a Bob fan either, but I DO like this!
I'm not a Bob Dylan fan, but this, this I like.
Maybe the most groovy track from bob first almost completely danceable album!
Deeply rooted musical composition with lyrics for a mature audience... got to love it!
Mister Z. just gets better and better.  See, the older you get, the better ya get ...

Last weekend on WNYC, Joanthan Schwartz accidentally brought up an instrumental from South Pacific after announcing he was going to play a cut from Dylan's new album. The whole way through the song, I was thinking to myself, "Well, it's a stretch for Bobby, but why not? He's earned it." LOL

Wow. Just Wow. Off to buy this one.
That voice is sure gettin' gravelly!
Yeah, that's what I'm talkin' about. Groove.

I'm really enjoying this new disc; I especially like the Norteńo accordion that features on a number on the songs.

Eek. It goes against the grain to admit this, but I really like it.
robert dylan, bob hunter!
