Nope. The hook didn't catch.
Took awhile for me to like it as much as their old stuff, but sometimes even with bands like U2, that's how they really get me on board...

But....what a coincidence.....I did not use to leave in this building. Quite strange, isn´t it ?
I did not live in that building either. Coincidence? I think not.

Hey, I used to live in the building in the lower-right of the album cover.

I was lukewarm about this take, which you've posted on other song comment pages, but after hearing this track I am completely with you. This has all the passion of a cloudy February morning donut break.
When the Dandy Warhols are rocking they're very, very good, when they're stoning they're horrid.

I really like this band, but the hook in this song sounds suspiciously similar to the one in this excellent song by the Baptist Generals:

The Dandies are fantastic live...and they play small venues

Loved the book too!
Ah, nice pronunciation of the album title by BillG to emphasize the connection to Portland.
Fun tune with some cool guitar sounds.

Great album overall. First two songs on album are The best - would be nice to hear them on RP
We were just listening to Bohemian Like You yesterday and missing The Dandy Warhols. Great to hear they have something new!
So I'm sitting in a little local bar, in the little town where I live, chatting with an guy I sorta know. We're talking music. He says he has a nephew who is in a band that's pretty well known. Curious, I ask who his nephew is. He says Courtney Taylor. I was like, really? He was surprised I knew who he was and who the band was. Turns out, he doesn't listen to his nephew's music. Odd little bit of trivia.
I like these guys. A well-tuned sound and appeal. Even their serious tunes have an element of fun. I like the name of the band just as much, and it sure seems to fit their style.
very Warholish!
I don't have anything of substance to say...I just wanted to be the first to comment on this song (doesn't happen very often).
Did you leave those Christmas lights in the window or is that someone else's apartment?
