All points vanish out west
A silhouette stands alone
Kika afraid of her garden
The seeds, they tremble and fall
Wearing a dress of milagros
A veil as black as the night
Always in her mind these visions return
She chases the demons away
Lorenzo sweeping the sidewalk
Finds Kika hiding in town
A bird trapped in the wires
Can barely speak and break free
Wearing a dress of milagros
A veil as black as the night
Always in her mind these visions return
She's chasing the spirits away
Reaches into the shadows
Lorenzo guides her back home
Clears out a path in the garden
To the heart of El Rancho Azul
Red bird's song in the morning
Amongst the thorns on the vine
The love that never will leave here
His obsession grows over time
Wearing a dress of milagros
A veil as black as the night
Always in her mind these visions return
Now keeps him from running away
A silhouette stands alone
Kika afraid of her garden
The seeds, they tremble and fall
Wearing a dress of milagros

I Heard Ramona Sing by Frank Black in this...
Nice
Nice
That's a unique, catchy, innovative track. I'd listen to that one anytime.
Oh, so nice! I just got this CD for my birthday (yeah, I'd still hardcopy) but haven't had time to listen to it yet. This gets me excited to do so :)
Sometimes these guys have just a touch too much tejano for me to really enjoy them...I don't have an ear for it and having lived in SoCal for a spell, it kind of makes me grimace...
Calexico is great... New!

I agree -- saw them at Battery Park NY in 2004-ish. The trumpets sounded like the voice of the brilliant sunshine! I'd say it was the best outdoor concert I've ever attended, in terms of sound quality and fullness. It was transporting in joyfulness!

Every live performance by Calexico cannot be anything else than an energy giving, exuberant party! Talk about natural resources
