I wonder what I'm waiting for
The Leaves are drifting out to sea
I'm waiting for you desperately
All things beautiful
All things beautiful
I want everything
I want everything
You call us with your silent seas
You call us in our tiny boats
Gather us up with the storm
And cast us out upon the shore
All things beautiful
All things beautiful
I want everything
I want everything
I want everything
I want everything
You're deep inside this fecund swamp
Or let it be your beating heart
You're deep inside this fecund swamp
You call us in our tiny boats
All things beautiful
All things beautiful
I want everything
I want everything
I want everything
I want everything
I want everything
I want everything
I want everything
I want everything

Anyone who likes this song is a verifiable Retard.
Umm, aside from the snarky bias of Retard (capitalized, no less, as a proper noun) what, exactly, is a 'verifiable' Retard? Did Schmoogsley mean 'certifiable'? Being 'certified' may put one in an asylum, but being 'verified' may put simply someone in, you know, Congress, or the White House. Now, Congress and and asylum may be one and the same, but technically, not really, so please be specific and accurate. Nonetheless, nothing from Cracker is 'verifiable', but it is always certifiably very good.
Is there another song on RP that has "fecund" as part of the lyrics?
It seems not. According to lyrics.com, the most likely candidate would be Rufus Wainright's Peaceful Afternoon, though that does not appear to be among the several of his songs played on RP.
Other than that, most instances seem to come from other gems such as:
Tantrix Sex Ritual by The Imperial Orgy
Following Evil's Path by NecroabortioN
Natalie's Got a Bottle, Yo! by Jizzo Belladona and the Cosmic Foxes
I didn't bother searching the RP library for those ones.
i don't dislike the song, i think it's quite listenable.
I scrolled down a bit to see if anyone had already said this, cause i'm sure i can't be the first to say -
knocking on heavens door....
Anyone who likes this song is a verifiable Retard.
....thank you doctor....quack, quack, quack....
damn, you want too much
I just want this song to stop

And answered by Bill. No.
The good news: I went to an outside patio bar, met two young girls, who just came back from Bonaroo, and we had drinks and watch thunderstorms roll across the sky.
I wrote a subsequent essay entitled: "A moment of Time with the Virtuous Bonaroo Girls". Their virtue is soming I call "Innocence and Curiosity"....a combitorial virtue.
I confess that I have heard it as feckin, which should work pretty well conceptually. I can see a fecud swamp as a feckin swamp pretty easily. Song lyrics are born to be misheard, after all.
Proud Retard here!

Fire bad. Tree pretty. I love the Derek Trucks Band. And I love this song, because it has the same resonance, the same melancholy hope.
I can't write more on this... I just know it feels good for me, right now.
Miss you, Cynaera.
You are the love.
RIP
Props to the guy doing the high harmony.
Stingray, Fred Riley and here is a blast from the past, Physics Genius; they are either the same person or back to back to back enamas.
Fred is Fred. One of a kind. If you don't like one of his comments just wait 'til you see the next one. Don't box him up with Stingray as an inveterate h8r and instigator.
That's just not fair to Mr. Riley.

looking at that, I'd say a Cradle of Filth fan would have a higher than average answer!
and you are a bona fide jackass for saying that
Maybe more of a Schmoogsley.
Nice burn!
Maybe more of a Schmoogsley.
They are superstars to those of us that understand their reach.
How many songs have the same chords? Think about it
I Want Everything - nice song to familiar chords. Someone once said, there's nothing new under the sun.

Not quite the same chord sequence as K O H D which is 1 5 6, 1 5 4, this song's just 1 5 4 and is a beautiful sound.

The Golden Age in '96 was pretty darn good. Then again their 2 most recent efforts, including the new Berkley To Bakersfield double disc offering, are pretty solid. This band still has IT.
Same here - the more I hear it the more I like it!!
I get the feeling that you honored your side of the bargain and if so I congratulate you for that. Most of the people I knew including myself rooked Columbia House for all we could. It's cool that you were able to roll the dice and pick up some music that had a lasting impact on you...
You are so-so-so-so right!
That's unfair. Fred's generally a cogent and honest poster. PG--oh, how I miss him--had an undiluted honesty that the rest of us envied--even if we disagreed, which was most of the time. However, Stingy is a troll, pure and simple. BTW, what's an enama?
I would be interested in your definition of a troll. Would a political party that gets .000001 percent of the vote, yet barks and whines ENDLESSLY, be considered a party of trolls? Not to mention millions murdered under their rule and many wars fought over it? Why is it if I don't like a song, I am a troll, but I come here for the express purpose of politcal agitation, I am an "honest poster".

Did someone say "Crack"?!
My favorite media guy about now. What a train wreck.
You can say that again. Amazing, underrated band.
Agreed. However, still gets a top couple hundred best albums ever.
Did someone say "Crack"?!
Stingray - I've asked you repeatedly to go away, and you continue to post. Must I get some sort of restraining order on you? Would it do any good?
I'm tired. Going away now.

The Canyons in Park City does free summer shows in their amphitheater. Parkites, as the locals are called, are on Park City time anyway, which means late. Real easy to get a spot in the front row and Camper Van Cracker has played their a few times.
You really do grok it from the front row....
Love Cracker even more with some Leftover Salmon
Dern it now I want to go up the shore to the smoked salmon haus...

I'll say that again.

Cynaera! Stingray is one of RP's biggest supporters, I believe! Please don't wish him (or her) away!!
Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!
(Obviously, I don't know, but one wonders…)

"A follow-up to their debut masterpiece, this collection brings more electric guitar-work to the mix in a way reminescent of Keith Richards and Mick Taylor. Full of catchy riffs, a stellar rythtym section, and open-throttle vocals, this melodic work represents what a four-piece rock band is all about. "Nostalgia" captures the wonder of the space age in an upbeat, contagious, guitar-woven gem. The intros to "Take Me Down To The Infirmary" and its sister song "I Want Everything" are beautifully sculpted phrases for which the Gibson Les Paul was created to inspire. The fun secret track #69, "Eurotrash Girl", is a live favorite. Three chords never sounded so good as in "Get Off This". David Lowery and Johnny Hickman harmonize to like a boy-girl team adding another sweet dimension to their songs."

Seems appopriate for a fecund tedious song... Ok, maybe not that bad, and Cracker do some other excellent stuff, but this is pretty Ho-Hum by their standards. 4 from the Nottingham jury.

One of my favourite "Cracker" songs. I like specially the guitar solo, but it has something special, I don´t know why. maybe this middle tempo, maybe the lyrics, maybe...I don´t know.
whatever.
thewiseking (clearly a misnomer) was schooled... and then came up with nothing.
Bravo Yamson.
