Sometimes we experience dense, hard to follow lyrics that are open to interpretation here on RP. Every now and then it's great to get a track where the meaning and celebration is right there on the top and it's joyous, especially from Adrianne and Big Thief

Not stupid. It's not all about a music job. But I think the previous commenter confused Emilou Harris with Lucinda Williams :-) And I don't think they stole anything big in the end.

If you listen to the whole album, Adrianne Lenker and the band seem quite content and at peace with themselfs. To write good lyrics in a situation like this is probably more difficult than when you're feeling down. Maybe the most poetic, intimate, positive album I heard in a long time. Can recommend the whole thing! And I am happy for them.
Thanks so much RP for the Big Chief introduction...They have become my favorite band over the last 5 years of hearing them on RP....
