this sounds quite a bit like Yothu Yindi.. not something I would normally have expected.

It's not a bad album. He put out another one, more targeted to a pop market, almost simultaneously. This one's better. "Souls of the Departed" is a little preachy but very powerful. At the closing, the guitar wails like a woman who's just lost her boy...as it's meant to do.

And I am the opposite. I thought his first couple of albums were just variations on a single tune. Even his breakout Born To Run just barely pushed my needle. But every thing since has been quite good, imo. Emwolb wrote:
