Pray, i don't know if it's sacred, or not
you say, that we can fall apart at anytime
breathe for the whole world...we can't fight
they starve for the love...that we supply
feed from their eyes, dream you're alive, and feel feel
the beast flies tonight, and the world he describes
suffer...suffer
Afraid, i don't know if we're heading for a fall
you jump into the front to say you're apart of it all
feed from their eyes, dream your alive, and feel feel
the beast flies tonight, and the world he describes
suffer...suffer
if we feed from their eyes, dream we're alive to feel
the beast flies tonight, the world he describes
suffer...suffer
these are the fallen souls

Saw OURS live in Tempe at a hole-in-the-wall place opening for Pete Yorn... 'could've sworn I was seeing the second coming of Jeff Buckley. I had goose bumps. Some may be offended at me comparing the two, but I had never heard of them, and ran out to get this CD the next day. It was quite and experience.
totally goose-bumps. that's what i'm talking about...
had the chance to hang out with jimmy gnecco a bunch of months ago when he opened for johnny marr at the viper room... his set (it was just him, w/out the rest his band) was amazing -- you can't believe the noise he can make when you see what a petite guy he is. he projected a passion that made the whole club sit down and shut up.
anyway, shared a table afterwards, and he was very shy and sweet despite all the smudgy black eyeliner and angst-ridden screaming. cute.

I thought it sounded like this dude was getting circumcized without benefit of anesthesia!

Bono? BONO? Is that YOU?
Nah... definitely not.
Hmmm
I thought it sounded like a cross between Bono and David Bowie, but who am I to say who slept with who?
Anyway, I LOVE this song, and this whole album, regardless of who it\'s compared to. I think it can stand on it\'s own.
Singer may sound like Buckley but he's been doing his thing in Jersey/NYC since the late 80s.

Oops. Proofs, one should never judge to quickly (and read the earlier made comments more precise!)
Blah, blah, blah... yes, all you \"I\'m sick of this Buckley wannabe people\" have a very valid point.
This song rocks anyway...
At first you're amazed how well U2/Buckley are imitated, then you notice it doesn't add anything (to put it mildly) and so it's nothing more than a nice try.
I just hate the Buckley-Wanna-Be scream. I always have to turn it down in the office. He\'s just not Jeff Buckley. Play Jeff Buckley...not this poop, please.
Jeff Buckley would be flattered.
good
