Would have bet money this was Dar Williams. Like it.
The sound seems distorted on this track.

Very similar tone and register though.

I was thinking Catie Curtis, but not quite.

This is nothing like Aimee Mann.  Completely different cadence.  Pay attention, please.

Blah.
The verses have wonderful lyrics, but with the way this girl sings, I just can't help but be bored.
Never heard of her. Thanks again RP. Great voice and great dic-tion. Pretty and calming.
An appropriate glimpse of "paradise". Musically sparse and vocally understated, the listener can understand and comprehend the lyrics.

umm....maybe more like Tori Amos/Mclachlan/and all those other whiny feminazi types whereas Shirley Manson and Chrissie Hynde both have a lot more passion in their voices and rock...period.....I think you're confused.
A bit precious...and not in a good way. Shows a lot of potential though. I\'d like to hear some different cuts.
Reminds me of Bruce Cockburn\'s \"Bone in my Ear\". As beautiful a tune as this one.
