I wanna go walking with you
If you'd agree
I wanna do some talking with you
Where no one can see
I wanna go dancing darling
If you agree
I think I'll feel a safe step darling
If you were with me
And when you wrap your arms around me
When you take me close and say
That you're so happy and so glad you found me
You take my rainy days and make them go away
Long time I've been thinking of you
Do you think of me too?
Long time I've been dreaming of you
Make this dream come true
Long time I've been wondering about this
Can this really exist
I think I feel a peaceful feeling
In the warmth of your kiss
And when you wrap your arms around me
When you take me close and say
That you're so happy and so glad you found me
You take my rainy days and make them go away
On this journey may the good lord guide us
And may the goddess dance beside us
And when you wrap your arms around me
When you take me close and say
That you're so happy and so glad you found me
You take my rainy days and make them go away
And when you wrap your arms around me
When you take me close and say

Great song - I love this one too, Sinead and Terry Hall (Specials). Love her smile when he sings.https://www.youtube.com/watch?...

Wow! A Sinead O'Connor song that's not bitterly tragic and disenfranchised. Sorta wish she'd do more of this, if only for her own mental health.
Tracy Chapman, too.
This record brings back good memories from the 1990's.

I've only been a Sinead fan recently since I heard how amazing her vocal and musical contribution to the world is.
I've been a Sinead fan since the beginning. Music she's made recently tends to be less disenfranchised and more spiritual.
I think most people's attitudes have been influenced by the press regarding O'Connor more than by the music. No one can sing better than Sinead O'Connor.

Oh for Chissakes do we really need to know this?

I'll take "The Lion & The Cobra", but nothing after that.
Love, love, love you Sinead o Connor! gra mor!!
Strong beat. Always have loved Sinead's voice. I like this.
If I wanted to listen to this crap, I\'d put the pop station on. Please no more of this gah-bahge. Thanks.
Tawanda I think the razorback missed the dripping sarcasm in your post.
I didn\'t :)

You know, I used to be a big Sinead O'Connor fan, but this cogent and insightful musical analysis has made me reconsider my musical tastes. Thanks for the education -- oh, if only I had been a Razorback!!
It\'s been a long time since I\'ve listened to Sinead OConnor. I love the tenderness of this song. She\'s one of the few female artists that can successfully pull off tough and tender on the same album. Great stuff!
