Everyone binds their memories to music, at least those who come to RP, i think.
This song reminds me of a special person on a special period of my life and i have been gifted this album from that person. Thanks RP for making me relive some special moments.

I kind of like it, but by the end I'm bored.  Just like with all their stuff.  The trumpet kills it dead for me.

I appreciate a wide range of music, but I’ve never liked the sound of this group or its music. I can’t quite pin down why, but that’s how it’s been from the first time I heard them and thought, “Well, gee….i kinda hate this.” Haters gonna hate.

Not what I would normally desire from a RHCP track, but tbh it made me look up from what I was doing.  That says something to me...nice for a change-up...

I was looking if the song "By the way" itself wasn't present in the RP catalog. It isn't and that's a good thing. The song is pretty good on itself, but the production on the recording is just God awfully horrible. It's as if the whole thing was crammed through the most aggressive dynamic range compressor possible. There is no dynamic range at all, it's worse than the worst cassette recording I ever made. It's like a car horn that can change tone but not volume.
