Perfect track for a speed run on the twisty back roads of County Claire.

Ahem... This song was good the first time when it was called Pretty in Pink by The Psychedelic Furs.
Yeah.
The Young Dubs certainly do put on a great live show. Like others have said, check them out when they play in your town. They tend to play smaller clubs when touring on their own.

"ahem": The Pogues are English. They sound Irish but they're all English, except for Cait, who married Elvis and left after the first album.
Maybe an "English" band in the sense that they were all living in England at the time that they formed but Shane MacGowan is most definitely Irish, born in England but to Irish parents.

If these guys are playing around you, check it out...great show. And they could really use your support now, as their van and equipment were recently ripped off (ouch).
If U2 and The Alarm had a child, this would be it. Nice stuff.

Hey! Good call. I was just thinking that they sounded to me like something/someone I'd heard back in the 80s, maybe even some Waterboys in there too?
I like.
Nice transition. Same key.

Don\'t know whether they\'ll last as long as the old Dubliners, but this song already leaves a very strong impression, after listening to it only 2 or 3 times.
Reminds me a bit of Big Country.
Ahhhh! I missed them... they put on a GREAT show, no matter how familiar you are with their music.
Yeah rockin\' is the word I\'d use too
Thanks again Bill
They are playing tomorrow night at the Canyon Club for those that live in So. Cal. If you like the song, Here it live you love it
