Man takes his cane to a waterfall
Has a vision
Starts talking baby talk
Understood by a girl in Peru
We read about it in the daily news

Lines of poetry
Revealing mysteries
Still some can't swim

Jesus walked on the water
He turned the water into wine
He went down to the drunkards
To tell them everything is fine
You R loved
You R loved
You R really loved

I cannot decide
Who should die or live
I do my best to forgive
Falling backwards in the eventide
Listening at the riverside

Water turning to wine........gee, now that's an original lyric
whenever I hear this song I'm tempted to switch of the radio for a few minutes. Her voice drives me crazy. It's so quirky...
I really like the horns and the melody - but the voice...
Can someone remaster this song and ask someone else to sing it? {#Ask}

Lyrics aren't "born again" in my view — but exactly the opposite.  Tolerance and acceptance in the lyrics, but sadly not in the born agains.

And "You are loved, you are really loved", which also isn't a facet of the born agains that I know.

Nice to hear this.

A cover of Spirit's "Nature's Way" on this album.

One of those singers whose voice, admittedly, is not the strong point, but somehow, at least for me, it works. I enjoy the positive sound of this song and think Victoria Williams does a fine job. Gave it a 7.

Not being argumentative, just curious. What part of that is bad?

At a first glance it sounds quite nice and the horns - I like em. But why am I afraid her voice will completely collapse the next instant.
Horns are wonderful - it's just her voice that makes me cringe.
