"We looked for some Bastille to storm
didn't find any

So we waited for the approval of the city
contract to build a Bastille
which set the revolution back five years."

that's just brilliant
wow...trip me up...

Brilliant. And let's not forget The Last Poets.
Wow. Never heard this before. Very cool

THIS is why I love RP. I probably would never hear anything like this without it. A small dose of this is good for everyone, even those too uptight to laugh at it. Maybe they can eventually get over themselves and join the groove.
Too fucking funny!
make it stop:(

a-yup. because the revolution was televised, turned into a late-night rerun movie, made into a documentary... arg. damnit.

What an original comment. Song just too cool for you.

I am loving the revolution theme. Thanks Bill!
I like it, yessssssssssssssss
Funny. We need funny occasionally, ya know.
I love this song (that's why I uploaded it). A great commentary on the effects of apathy on America with tongue firmly planted in cheek. And a great groove irregardless of lyric content. Even the former radical outsiders are now too complacent to fight the good fight. I know a lot of older activists who honestly see mine, as well as the current late teens/early twenties, generation in this light. Maybe if more of us saw ourselves this way we might get it in gear as a whole.
Cool song...good groove. "Good beat, you can dance to it". For those old enough, doesn't that remind you of the stupid comments every dancer on American Bandstand used to say about every song? Anyway...I don't know why I'm thinking of this. I need more coffee... Anyhow, I like this song. Another good example of RP's eclecticism.
I simply don't know what to say. Interesting in a way. Glad I did not give up my automatic weapons yet. :daisy.gif:
