See my life (I've been so tired)
See my self (I've been uptight)
See my life (I've been so tired)
See my sight (I could disappear)
See with you memories fading fast
And with you it's never going to last
You are the sweetness in my eyes
You are an apple in disguise
See with you
I never seemed to look the other way
Only to stay, only to breathe
Only to see
That space and light is what I really need
I never wanted to tell lies
You are the sweetness in my eyes
You are the juice I need for life
You are the sweetness in my eyes
See my self (I've been uptight)
See my life (I've been so tired)
See my sight (I could disappear)
See with you memories fading fast
And with you it's never going to last
You are the sweetness in my eyes
You are an apple in disguise
See with you
I never seemed to look the other way
Only to stay, only to breathe
Only to see
That space and light is what I really need
I never wanted to tell lies
You are the sweetness in my eyes
You are the juice I need for life
You are the sweetness in my eyes

Smells like Cocteau Twins to me...

You hit the nail on the head CJ. The 'sound' is often only appreciated from hindsight. This now sounds 'of its time' and gives me that momentary sinking feeling in my stomach like home sickness or extreme nostalgia for a time or a place that can never be returned to.
Love it! I notice how this seems to be full of the sound that so many used in those years; the Charlatans, Stone Roses, lots of others...

Dreamy stuff - cool, layered guitars.
