Hot hands
Move things
I write in his wall
I have no mind at all
Hot things
Move him
I write on his wall
I have no heart at all
I think she's a pretty little fool
She holds me down, she flows
She has a back like Marie
I think he's a crazy bastard
Drives me home, he goes
You have a back like Marie
You have pearls in your eyes
And you use your burning to wrap yourself in
And you use your fever to hide yourself away
And you use sweating to keep me down
And you use your heat to have me
And you use your fire to be stronger than me
And you use your flame against me
I won't come back like Marie
The pearls on my eyes
These pearls on my eyes
They make me blind
I write on your wall
I have no eyes at all
I write on your wall
I have no eyes at all
Move things
I write in his wall
I have no mind at all
Hot things
Move him

It's a solid 1. Nothing can redeem that opening. Nothing.
This might be the worst song I have heard so far this year. Way beyond terrible.

Please don't compare Grace Slick with this.
There is no comparison!
Too late...as you can see, the comparisons been made. And I second that emotion. But I think it rings of another early 90's group. Eve's Plum...good rocking behind hard gritty female vocals. Any Breeders fan out there?
Just when it was getting weird and tense, the guitar began cranking HARD, and things went warp speed and the sound was incredible and I was like, Damn that was good...
Awesome song
Hey! Loved how it really kicked out the jams in the middle section....I've never heard any Throwing Muses. Guess I'll have to do some searching. Any tips out there?

Depends whether you're into schizo-lyrics or not. Personally I'm rating 2 but it might yet go down to a 1
It's headed in that direction for me too.
More Muses or 50 ft. Wave!
Delicious sweet dark and bitter
Like good chocolate

I was just thinking this song has a very '60's SF acid rock sound.
i am flummoxed by this...

Cool. I never liked Red Heaven at first but it really grew... it helped that there was a track with Bob Mould on the album.

Interesting...the Bob Mould contribution is the only part of this album that I don't like.
Yup, quite likeable!

YES! YES! YES! Quite possibly my favorite band ever.
Best song from this album, IMO. L really like Throwing Muses, but I think I like Kristin Hersh solo even better,
Red Heaven is a fantastic album. Kristin Hersh has now formed 50FOOTWAVE, you can learn more at https://www.throwingmusic.com/(click here)
Glad I caught this ditty's end. Looking forward to the next muse.
I got this cd a while ago. Nice to hear again!
loved throwing muses live... always got a chuckle at the dancing crowd trying to keep up with the tempo changes
I trew a muse once. I ferget if it was dat writing chick, or da hummer. She din't go far, but I had to move to Joisey after dat.
Wow! For a second there I thought we were going to break into "Rare Earth - Get Ready!"
cuz here I come!

Love the Muses!
Discordant, melodic, entrancing, enticing, driving - incredible.
Even better live. Wonderful!
I thought I recognised that voice. I'm not sure that I like it though, think I prefer her acoustic and solo :(
I thought I heard Mz. Hersh...
Nice addition to the playlist!
Great to hear some of The Muses - Thanks!
