Inside my mind's eye
I find myself falling
Falling down a spiral tunnel
A spiral tunnel now
It was deep
It was deep
It seemed to go on forever and ever
Lights appeared
I couldn't tell what they were
Mesmorizing
Hypnotizing
I'll began synthesizing my own thoughts
What if I wasn't gonna make it back again
What if all I ever dreamed of was gone
Then it hit me
Everything's gonna be okay
Everything's gonna work itself out
Everything's gonna be okay
Everythings' gonna work itself out
I find myself falling
Falling down a spiral tunnel
A spiral tunnel now
It was deep
It was deep
It seemed to go on forever and ever
Lights appeared
I couldn't tell what they were
Mesmorizing
Hypnotizing
I'll began synthesizing my own thoughts
What if I wasn't gonna make it back again
What if all I ever dreamed of was gone
Then it hit me
Everything's gonna be okay
Everything's gonna work itself out
Everything's gonna be okay
Everythings' gonna work itself out

Peter Frampton on crack
The "vocoder" effect has been tired since Peter Framptom's incredibly overexposed "Framptom Comes Alive" back in the 70's. And when Neil Young and so many others played with it in the 80's.
Sure, it's different technology each time around, but soooo tired. And other than the pseudo-vocals, this tune seems to have absolutely nothing to distinguish itself.
(I built an analog pitch extractor back in the early 70's to get just this effect by feeding control voltages into a Moog Model 15 synth. An incredible amount of work for an effect that was so quickly boring.)
Have not heard that much voice box distortion since Peter Frampton came to Life.
