And to think that for all these years, I've been under the impression that "Roxanne" was as low as Sting would ever sink, musically speaking. . . .
Formulaic gospel production values clumsily applied to a very very trite message.
But of course, sting could shit on a plate and call it "you" and his fans would still eat it up.
I liked Sting in the Police days and some of his early solo stuff, but this is pure easy listening pap. Yuck.
he's losing his teeth.
Sting is one talented guy - I can't help but like him. A little less of an edge than earlier stuff but it just still grooves.
