By now you should've somehow realized what you gotta do
I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now
Backbeat the word is on the street that the fire in your heart is out
I'm sure you've heard it all before but you never really had a doubt
I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now
And all the roads we have to walk are winding
And all the lights that lead us there are blinding
There are many things that I would like to say to you but I don't know how
Because maybe
You're gonna be the one that saves me?
And after all
You're my wonderwall
Today was gonna be the day but they'll never throw it back to you
By now you should've somehow realized what you're not to do
I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now
And all the roads that lead you there were winding
And all the lights that light the way are blinding
There are many things that I would like to say to you but I don't know how
I said maybe
You're gonna be the one that saves me?
And after all
You're my wonderwall
I said maybe (I said maybe)
You're gonna be the one that saves me?
And after all
You're my wonderwall
I said maybe (I said maybe)
You're gonna be the one that saves me? (That saves me)
You're gonna be the one that saves me? (That saves me)
You're gonna be the one that saves me? (That saves me)
If you are “bored” by or “over” this version, check out Ryan Adams’ Grammy nominated version on “Love is Hell,” or his stunning 2015 Glastonbury acoustic performance. And note the audience reaction. Below are Noel Gallagher’s comments upon hearing Ryan’s take:
“I went to see Ryan Adams in Manchester… So he’s playing away and he just does ‘Wonderwall’ right in the middle of the set. The fucking place went silent. It was so beautiful. I was just like, ‘Fucking Jesus Christ what a fucking song!’ Afterwards, I told him, ‘You can have that song, man, because we could never quite get it right.’
That was great. Thanks for that.
I just recommended Radio Paradise to someone about 10 minutes ago. I hope they aren't listening. I told them there was good music on here. I'm so embarrassed!
Says a lot about your insecurity complex.

here you go
I am always wondering why aren't any other songs from this album ever played? Are the other songs not good? I have heard wonderwall enough now
Listen to some samples of the other songs on iTunes or Amazon - don't wait for them to pop up on the radio...you could have a long wait.
"My wife told me to stop singing Wonderwall.... I said maaaybeeee...."
What we came across in the woods that day was obviously unplanned. The reactions you saw on tape were raw; they were unfiltered. None of us knew how to react or how to feel. I should have never posted the video. I should have put the cameras down and stopped recording what we were going through.
There's a lot of things I should have done differently but I didn't. And for that, from the bottom of my heart, I am sorry.
I want to apologize to the internet. I want to apologize to anyone who has seen the video. I want to apologize to anyone who has been affected or touched by mental illness, or depression, or suicide. But most importantly I want to apologize to the victim and his family.
For my fans who are defending my actions, please don't. I don’t deserve to be defended. My goal with my content is always to entertain; to push the boundaries, to be all-inclusive. In the world I live in, I share almost everything I do. The intent is never to be heartless, cruel, or malicious.
Like I said I made a huge mistake. I don’t expect to be forgiven, I’m just here to apologize.
I'm ashamed of myself. I’m disappointed in myself. And I promise to be better. I will be better. Anyway, here's "Wonderwall."

They're my underalls
yeah, kinda feel the same way.
not a good song.
Better question: Why do you h8?
You're sure about the lyrics? Oasis lyrics are not the best.
For balance, I once witnessed an impromptu singalong of this at Glastonbury when a bloke started up on his guitar. It was lovely.

Noel seems to have aged just fine. Last year's album by Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds is fantastic. You probably wouldn't know because you seem to write off music/bands for the most cursory of reasons (some of which they have no control over).
The same folks who think Dylan can sing. Or Neil Young.
It's been brought up earlier in the thread, but "Wonderwall" was a psychedelic film from 1968 about a recluse who peers through holes in a shared wall (wonderwall) at his neighbor (Jane Birkin) and her boyfriend. George Harrison wrote much of the film's soundtrack which appeared on his first album (the first album on Apple Records) which was titled "Wonderwall Music".
This just made my day. Thanks for that.
Chill out dude
By your judgement of what's "good"?
ha, clever, you're saying he looks like the parody of himself. I suppose he would...

There are at least two Beatle references in this song. "and all the roads are long and winding", the title Wonderwall was George Harrison's first solo album - a soundtrack for the movie with the same name.
But I still like hearing it!
Isn't it amazing, whether you agree with the argument or not, how a cogent analysis of a topic beats the heck out of someone petulantly banging on their keyboard to type, "WHYWHYWHYWHY??"
More of this and less of that.
LOL! That was a very funny reply to two different sorts of comments. And oddly enough, I just commented on another comment of yours giving props for the message...so once again....KUDOS!
Long Live RP!
I was going to say "daft pricks", but I like gobshite twins better!
Oasis were at the forefront in a revival called Britpop - proper songs written by proper musicians - that reclaimed popular music from the bland formulaic pop machine and the trash American metal that late Eighties and early Nineties music had become. All the best bands that made Nineties and Naugties music listenable sprang from this same well. All those who summarily dismiss this innovative band, need to re-examine their music collections and wonder how many of the great acts that have adorned music festivals since would have existed without Oasis laying the groundwork for them.

I enjoy this now and again, but I'd tire of hearing in daily.
Apparently the least-liked song on the Busker's circuit in London. https://www.mercurynews.com/ci_13177751

reminded my wife of the scene in Dumb and Dumber when Jim Cary asks if "you wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world?"
Derivative.........inadequate.
Dated...............OK
Over-hyped......Meh.
Have you ever hold any guitar in your hands? I doubt that. Chords are simple yet the sequence is great. Have at least a little respect for the music, just enough not to say "Can there be a rating less than 1?"
Sadly this song has been destroyed by one too many bad cover bands in bars all over the country. Also the guy sings a few of his own notes flat.
Mmmmm... perhaps you are spending way too much time in bars?
Doesn't he say "shave me" at one point? I think the drums and violins once made this song work but these days it's pulled down by the undeniably crappy singing.
10/13/14: this song has not aged well at all.
After their set I distinctly recall the following exchange took place between my buddy and I:
Me: "Well that was good!
Nico: "Yeah but the signer's an A r s e H o l e"
agreed, and confirmed at the Olympics closing, perhaps it's a UK thing. Oasis just OK.
No, it's a Manchester thing. Joy DIvision, Smiths, Happy Mondays, New Order, Oasis....etc. etc. proper bands!
Of course I so wished I lived in the US where I could proudly proclaim to live in the country that gave the world that thing it never needed i.e. country music!!! Yuk!

Agreed - lousy song
Or how familiar with what better music sounds like, as opposed to this pop-schlock drivel?
Couldn't agree more - ucch!! Just a lousy, boring song, period.
Hopefully at the bottom of a landfill.

JUST AN UNBELIEVABLE SONG!
IS a 12 ENOUGH...?
POP-ROCK AT IT'S BEST!
Not for kids and beginners.

It's a reference to George Harrison's 1968 'Wonderwall' soundtrack album (for an unreleased film of the same name), consisting of Indian-influenced instrumental tracks. The album was the first Beatle solo LP and the first Apple album release.
The movie "Wonderwall" was on Youtube for a while——I had some of the music for a long time and ended up watching the movie just for the heck of it. I like to see ALL movies about the psychedelic sixties; so was glad to sit through some of the silliness.
