I was thinking it was Gilmour, but then I glanced at Winamp and saw "Nick Mason and ..." for some reason, my addled brain read Dave Mason, and I thought to myself, "I don't remember Dave Mason sounding so much like David Gilmour".
...funny, i just had exactly the same experience...

Agreed!
This is just awful. Sounds like the soundtrack to a bad 80's movie.

It wasn't until the song was over and I came here, and read correctly NICK Mason, now it all makes sense.
I havent heard this for years! This has got to be Gilmour on vocals, I am certain. 9

It is Gilmour on vocals....the origianl disc is called "Profiles"
Sooo, either Nick Mason sounds just like David Gilmour (how weird would that be?), or this Rick Fenn sounds like Gilmour (and Nick can't play drums to anyone other than GIlmour-sound-alikes (apart from Waters)). Either way its weird... The song? ok but sounds a bit too mucj 80's (not the good kind) for my liking.
Oh, it IS Gilmour... that explains it.

I have this on a 45 single for some reason and didn't want to convert it over on the hard drive, so it could be uploaded. So I tried to get a copy of the cd release. I then realized how hard that was to get! So I searched and searched and finally found it on this cd of "Heard It on the Radio". So there's my life story of this upload. Now who wants to hear how I got a copy of a rare, gatefold promo cd of Nirvana's "Heart Shaped Box"? It is worth a chunk of change. Ok Bill, it's your turn... play it! Please! After all, it is a good song. And it sounds like a Pink Floyd song you never heard before!

I haven't heard this on the radio since 1985.
Thanks Bill.

Made me stop and see who this is. It's ok, kinda calypso Floyd-ish

An upbeat offshoot of Pink Floyd. I kinda like it. Sounds like Dave Gilmour on vocals.

Songs It is almost entirely instrumental, save for two songs: "Lie for a Lie", featuring singer Maggie Reilly and Pink Floyd singer and guitarist David Gilmour; and "Israel", sung by UFO keyboardist Danny Peyronel.
