You got wires going in
You got wires coming out of your skin
You got tears making tracks
I've got tears that are scared of the facts

Running down corridors, through automatic doors
Got to get to you, got to see this through
I see hope is here in a plastic box
I see Christmas lights reflect in your eyes

You got wires going in
You got wires coming out of your skin
There's dry blood on your wrist
Your dry blood on my fingertip

Running down corridors, through automatic doors
Got to get to you, got to see this through
First night of your life, curled up on your own
Looking at you now you would never know

I see it in your eyes, I see it in your eyes
You'll be alright
I see it in your eyes, I see it in your eyes
You'll be alright
All right

Running down corridors, through automatic doors
Got to get to you, got to see this through
I see hope is here in a plastic box
I see Christmas lights reflect in your eyes

Running down corridors, through automatic doors
Got to get to you, got to see this through
First night of your life, curled up on your own
Looking at you now you would never know

Forget bird-flu, cholera, the plague...the biggest threat to music-loving humanity is the dreaded Coldplay Virus that seems to be striking more and more bands. Quarantine, quick!

Interesting thematic segue from the placenta song to the neonatal ICU song.

Really great band! This album was less poppy than the first but well worth checking out!

the song's lyrics actually relate to the birth of the lead singer's child and their stay in intensive care
I thought so - without resorting to google - I puzzled over what appeared a bit morbid, until hearing "....in a plastic box" Then I twigged. = the incubator. I bought the album on the strength of this song - there are a lot of similarities between the songs but overall a solid album.

what a beautiful song, thank you for playing it!
Lets here more from the rest of the album. I've heard this song quite alot.
I liked it well enough the first few times I heard it, but it's been played to death here in the UK.

Mmmmm. Like the tune enough, I find the lyrics a little dodgy though. Overall? Rather alright. Comparisons with Coldplay could be legitimate, I suppose.
