If you need a friend
Don't look to a stranger
You know in the end, I'll always be there
But when you're in doubt
And when you're in danger
Take a look all around, and I'll be there

I'm sorry, but I'm just thinking of the right words to say
I know they don't sound the way I planned them to be
But if you wait around a while, I'll make you fall for me
I promise, I promise you I will

When your day is through
And so is your temper
You know what to do
I'm gonna always be there
Sometimes if I shout
It's not what's intended
These words just come out
With no gripe to bear

I'm sorry, but I'm just thinking of the right words to say
I know they don't sound the way I planned them to be
But if you wait around a while, I'll make you fall for me
I promise, I promise you I will

I'm sorry, but I'm just thinking of the right words to say
I know they don't sound the way I planned them to be
And if I had to walk the world, I'd make you fall for me
I promise you, I promise you I will

I gotta tell you
Need to tell you
Gotta tell you
I've gotta tell you

I'm sorry, but I'm just thinking of the right words to say
I know they don't sound the way I planned them to be
But if you wait around a while, I'll make you fall for me
I promise, I promise you

I'm sorry, but I'm just thinking of the right words to say
I know they don't sound the way I planned them to be
And if I had to walk the world, I'd make you fall for me
I promise you, I promise you I will
I will
I will

This can't be anything less than a 10.
Ah, me, oldster, still riden' the new wave...
I love this song{#Roflol}
Good memories of High School with that one.....
{#Hearteyes}
Kind of a sappy song from a one-hit wonder.  But I've always liked it.  My manly friends chide me for it, but I feel vindicated since RP playes it.
This makes me want to play tetherball with Deb.

Yes, please throw it back!

an oldie but a goodie. fun blast from the past for an old lady like me! thanks bill!
This just followed a classical piece and yet it works, neat!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAh!!! (Yes, I just mentally screamed l like a 12 year old at a Hannah Montana concert.)   This was one of my favorite songs in high school!{#Bounce}

A bit too '80s for me. I'm glad I was born in them, so I can't remember :oD.

(Mostly it was my dad insulating me from current music.)

Really?! How OLD are you? I was a kid in the 80s, but I know this song....

and I *LIKE* it. :)

{#Yell} Howard Jones, are you in there??

7.
"Too bad, she says you have to go because you're ruining everybody's lives and eating all our steak."

(Sorry, couldn't resist.)

Can't help wondering why the type, which is difficult to read, wasn't placed in that nice big dark a few inches lower...
I caught you a delicious bass.

Me neither. Who the Fanta is When in Rome?
Tetherball!
I like hearing this in the RP mix. Totally unexpected.
One of the very few songs that don't fit into the otherwise outstanding RP portfolio. 3/10 at best.

I know this song could be considered "another one from the late 80's, early 90's" but it was an anthem back then!! I can not say much, it brings back good times... doesn't it?

I was really happy to hear this song played just now. I think it's one of my favourite songs from the 80s. Very sweet and always brings a smile to my face. Thanks RP!!
" I am sorry but I am thinking of the right words to say." i got a suggestion for you. how about "we suck!"

Maybe Synth?

Ahhh Napoleon Dynamite...
Good tune. I always thought this was Depeche Mode.
OK--this may not be the greatest song in the history of the world, but I'm enjoying it.
well *I* like it :)
This song just makes me happy.
Blast From the Past!
great flashback tune. rest of the album stunk...true one hit wonder.
I keep expecting it to morph into Vienna by Ultravox...
Great segue from Philip Glass! Good 80s song too.
When In Rome - The Promise Philip Glass - Escape! Seamless segue!
techno crap
Never knew who this was... but it always makes me think of happy times even though I can't connect it to any specific memories. A sweet song.

only for nostalgias's sake. middle school. a boy and a roller rink party.
Change "middle school" to "high school" for me, and we're on the same page.
I like the symth drums. They're really big.
Vote for Pedro!

Pretty Howard Jonesy. A ho-hum tune, I'd say.
Howard Jonesy? Not. Actually, except for the lack of meaning, lyrical content, and melody, WIR sounds exactly the same.

Only 2 things on this album worth checking out: This song, and the hottie on the cover :)

Still stands up. Strange when that happens with 80s stuff. heh.
Serious 80's synth on this is a bit hard to take. Giving an extra rating point though because I like the left side of the album cover...
OMG! And on Radio Paradise! High school flashbacks INDEED.
wow, high school girlfriend flashbacks
Wow! I haven't heard this song in ... I don't know how long. Never knew who the artist was either. A winner! Thanks!
Happy Valentines day to Napoleon and Deb!
YES!
Sounds like Icicle Works, or 8 or 10 other bands from the late 80's.
What a distinct sound and flashback...ha...I'm the first to comment. Nice addition to the PL, just don't play too often.

I guess this made it from the LRC, and in good time, too. Nice song. Makes me feel 15 again.
Hello, Napoleon Dynamite?
