I'm trying not to stare
It's too late
The blankets over there
If you like
I'm broken and I'm colder than hell
I should've said I'd not
Come back here
Your breakfast will get cold
I really have to go
It's easier to lie
And be safe
Time and time again
I'm half stalled
One giant leap of faith
Is easy
When everyone you ask
Is so sure
Just give a second thought
What if we don't get caught?
Just say you love me now
And forget this whole ride
Just save your energy
For making up with me
It's too late
The blankets over there
If you like
I'm broken and I'm colder than hell
I should've said I'd not
Come back here
Your breakfast will get cold
I really have to go
It's easier to lie
And be safe
Time and time again
I'm half stalled

Is easy
When everyone you ask

I wouldn't say that it rocks, but this whole album is nice. Very relaxing.
everything sounds like coldplay now.

Methinks I'm being slowly hypnotized by blandness. I mean, I did find their other "hits" (Run, Chasing Cars) catchy and oozy. This one? Maybe I've backed the wrong horse.

I agree. The only thing worse is everything else in the song.
I loved this CD from start to finish when it came out. Still do. Too bad the rest of their albums aren't as consistant. This song is one of the 'okay' tracks.

No, this is the only album of merit (by these guys), the rest is pretty bland, pop junk. Their last album is an abomination.
I keep waiting for the song to actually start....

Directions for making a really foul concoction:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Death Cab for Cutie
1 tablespoon Snow Patrol
1 slice John Mayer
1 teaspoon Conor Oberst
Directions: In glass dish, mix Death Cab with Conor Oberst and Snow Patrol, being sure to remove Gibbard's glasses before grinding into fine mist. Flavor by squeezing John Mayer until you extract his smarm. Pour putrid mess into glass and make your worst enemy drink it. Enjoy watching him writhe in painful agony before dying a merciful death.
Can you substitute 1 tablespoon Neil Young and get the same results?

I like most of the artists in this "recipe" -- one of them quite a lot -- but that is really freakin' funny :-)

I'm all out of Conor Oberst. May I substitute 1 1/2 teaspoons of Sufjan Stevens?

I love this song too. I really hated this CD at first. It took several listens to hook me.

It's more like a death rattle.

would I be alone in asking RP to step up the tempo this morning?
Anyone into Wolfmother?

the Zamboni? Snowblower?
Strings, chimey things and God knows what. A little heavy on the sugar.
I just ordered this cd (thanks RP)...have not listen to all of it yet, but this song sucked. Looking forward to hearing the rest of the album though.
Okay. Time to bring the mood back up a bit. Hope someone's listening ...
I picked up a used copy of this CD recently. I like some of the tunes. Any recommendations on any others by them?
God I wish this thing had a fast forward button.

I like this so I guess I like depressing music.

Just average Snow Patrol, I've heard MUCH better.
