This IS a decent cover. {#Clap}
I, for one, like this.

I must really be a sap—I love Chrissie Hine's voice, and live for Dylan (well, not really), and I LOVED this cover!  By the other comments, I guess I have a big "L" on my forehead.....

Nice cover . No "L" on our forehead.

I must really be a sap—I love Chrissie Hine's voice, and live for Dylan (well, not really), and I LOVED this cover!  By the other comments, I guess I have a big "L" on my forehead.....
oh look... daddy and the new bride are dancing!

"honey, you're still my little girl. i just want you to know i don't feel like i've lost a daughter, i've gained... ah, screw this! can't you just play tattooed love boys already?"
The schmatzy-est of Dylan's songs, here with extra sap.

This is horrible. It's helping make this thursday morning last.....well....forever. More upbeat music please.

Indeed.

She should not sing this song.

such a lovely song, but could you play Dylan's version?
Oh Chrissie.

Why doesn't the skip button work on RP?

Sweet Jesus, please make it stop.
As some other poster said here earlier.... I think I just threw up a little in my mouth...
Blech.
If the insipid soundtrack were removed so we only got to listen to Chrissie's lovely voice--maybe then it would be OK.
the pain, the pain!!!!!! How can this be rated 5.7?

She's amazing don't like the song though
my rating option menu goes to -11
Blah song, good album cover.
Ooh, and the file sounds b0rked. Or maybe it's the stream...
Even Rod Stewarts version is way better than this; in fact I love Roddy\'s version. Perhaps I\'m a little bias as it came out the summer my son was born. :) Patti M.
This is forever boring. 3
Stoney LaRue does the best cover of this song I have ever heard.
I\'m not giving it a 1 because that\'s just too obvious. I give it a 2 because this song really, really gets on my nerves.
...i can't decide if this is really good or cringeworthy...it's, like, teetering right on that needlepoint with no middle ground between the two extremes...
This is total drivel, so disappointing after a great set of music leading in... Please remove this from the playlist Bill, pretty please?
...heard this on womens rock radio the otha day an' now here at rp it's my lucky week, thanx rp as always!
The sort of song played during the closing credits of a move. But not the one that starts right as the movie ends, more like the one that plays second, when all the thanks and legal notices are scrolling by.
i can't believe this song is even being played here. it's so bad it's not even interesting. it's just... bad.
This must be Radio Paradise's Wedding Reception mix. ha(w)t
Dentist's-office-waiting-room-worthy!
Oh poor Chrissie, there's nothing left, is there?
I'd speak to this tune, but it really is beyond words.
I'm a fan of The Pretenders, but this is pretty bad. Talk about stripping away all the emotional intensity from Dylan's original. Sounds like a version that would be popular at schmaltzy weddings.
I actually stopped working along in my little day to say 'no way' to then cast a vote. it feels different from other RP music we hear, and not in such a good way. Sorry, almost fell asleep to this one.
This is one of the best pretenders songs I have heard .. and never heard it before. Wild. Thanks RP!
one of the best female voices in rock, if not THE best. :)

Chrissie is a hottie, good singer too but NOTHING compares to Dylan doing this with The Band in The Last Waltz.Awsome. Chrissie(and the boys) get a 7
Good musicians...very lethargic tune...decent...
I really like this version. Thanks Bill!
this song...meh...BUT the cover shot of Chrissie...HOT!
Chrissie, my gal, you can do no wrong.
I've not heard this before. I like it!
I feel like I've heard this one somewhere before....LOL.
