Joyous, uplifting and springy.
These guys are reinventing the Blues

"Open up" in what way? Just thinking of the earlier "electronic fart" post that Cynaera [RIP] commented on
Very nice, it works, there are three different moods playing together.
Thanks Bill and all.
(if you were to change your name to Paul, then we could say "Thanks Paul and all"
Kinda like poetry)
In the late 70s, joined Columbia House record club. This was one of my initial picks. Came with a peel off sticker listing the tracks that was positioned over the nude. 20 years later, my parents were still getting solicitations from Columbia House. Fifty years later, still have the album. Sticker is long gone.
Reminds me of Belouis Some - Imagination
Give me poonani
How nice: Santana - Maria Maria
Funny: right after Oye como va! Thanks!
Energetic melody.
Alpha Yaya Diallo was for me another accidental discovery.  A former girlfriend of mine worked as a promotions staff member for a music distribution company.  Digging through boxes of promo CDs I started grabbing discs and giving them a listen, Alpha was among those CDs and I've been enjoying his music ever since.  Oh. how things have changed though, now his music occupies a memory card in my car stereo or computer linked to a home sound system.

Seriously, like every second time I start the eclectic stream, this song airs. I can't stand it anymore. I even start turning away from RP more often.

oooh    relax and move with the groove.
amazing intro!! what a groove.
this guy should open up for the afro celt band
This has got a Doobie Brothers "Without Love" groove goin' on...

Is that my stomach?
I hear the robot cat also.
I'm hearing all kinds of familiar and favourite influences in the music here! An instrumental of this would be stunning.
Nice. I hear the same groove in Ray Charles and Jimmy Lewis ... "If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have no luck at all..."

FUNKY
I love this guy and his family band, based in Vancouver and they are so fun, energetic and perfectly in tune. On a great day his daughters taught us how to dance. Mind you, that was a fair good time ago... The beauty moments stay with us forever.

That has to be one of the weirdest comments I've ever read here.  I hope you'll explain it, because I listened to the song, and I know farts (don't ask) and I didn't hear one, electronic or otherwise.  (Pretty funny, though.)

I liked this song - tapped my foot and got some serious writing done to it.  Until I read the fart comment. {#Lol}

He's the backing singer - pretty cool cat!

Singing cat

A little Craig Chaquico sound to it...not sure who came first....not that it matters, but kinda nice.

No lyrics available?  Pity.
Neo-Congalese?  (Not sure about the spelling...)

Post-Congalese?

Imagine partying to this in your young 20s.
Why did I rate it 3 ? It sounds like at least a 5 to me today...

Thirded!!
What a sound at AAC 128kbpsk!!! {#Yes}
A Peter Gabriel's production? Doesn't sound as overproduced as his work usually is so I'm not sure.
Thanks, Bill!!! {#Notworthy}
{#Dance}Diggin it...
Smooth transition from Phish - Sand to this
This is exquisite! Now folks...this is what you should hear no matter where you are in the jungle.
Pret-ty schweet, with a funky underlayer.  Nice!

Youssef N'Dour...?

Nodding along to Phish's Sand, not thinking a thing of it, and I stopped to think, "extended remix? Who's the vocalist?!"

Sweet segue, dude!
Discovered Alpha Yaya Diallo via a CD buried in a box of promotional CDs that were given to me via an album called "The Message".  I consider this one of life's happy accidents.  For a self-taught guitarist the man is pretty amazing... those rhythms he plays are no joke.

3 plays in 30 days? That's a bit low, don't you think?
Great segue from Les Paul, nice one!    {#Clap}
Great segue from Phish's Sand. You rule, Bill!

Problem is they are not geographically distributed where they could concentrate their vote to actually elect someone.
Nice!

Nope.  Tell us where you are and we'll all come over and listen for it.

This particular tune seems to have been produced by committee. Just pick a continent already...

"Give me pu-nani"?

Anyone else see an Ali-G lyric wanting to come out there? {#Wink}
A little like Deep Forest..........
