How about "Video Killed the Radio Star"?
In case you haven't heard "Sparkle And Shine" from this album, it's probably the coolest love song I've ever heard.
Alright, I'm waiting for Wall of Voodoo "Mexican Radio" next!
He sounds like a young John Prine.
...i wonder if i were to start a microbroadcast station using soup cans and kite string, if the powers-that-be would come after me for royalties?..

I agree - almost as bad as Big Sky Country
this song is seriously bad
This song is really starting to grow on me. Find myself singing it to myself a lot.
Cool.

I've heard one of his songs as a musical intro in TV coverage of NBA games, and I understand that General Motors used a song from The Revolution Starts Now on one of their commercials.
Sirius Satellite Radio Ch. 18 seems to be rather fond of this tune.
I don't normally like Steve Earle, but I kinda like this one.

Steve Earle on a commercial? Ha! That'd be the day. One of the best under-the-radar artists out there.

i hate this song so much. it makes my head hurt. whenever it comes on, i am dying for it to be over. (and i like most everything played, at least a little)

This sounds like it was written for a commercial. It's a really stupid, inane song. 1,2,3 on the satellite radio ?..yuk! Stupid lyrics and the guitar sounds like it's a loop-very boring This is embarrasingly bad
Neat to think about all the seriousness and sweat that went into the construction and launch of these satellites - and we allow people to use it for this. I'm out here, and I'm listening.
Well I'm getting Sirius.
Not anyway on the satellite radio ... just on Radio Paradise 24/7
Keep it going good Steve
See you next Friday at Printer's Alley

Snore.
Maybe Bill asked himself that very same question at one time.
good cruisin' song
My first rating was 8. I just dropped it to a 6. Over time, this song is just getting annoying...
I pretty much like anything by Steven Earl.
I pretty much like any song about radios, because I LOVE the radio.
Very cosmic, very spiritual
Too drone-y for me.

Not sure what I think of this. What sort of music would you call it?
I'd call it yucky, yucky, crappy poop.
Nicey goodie good dancy grovin music-like
this is very cool. I've liked him since the beginning, but he seems to improve with age (seems it's usually the other way around)
Better than any of his previous stuff...never been a fan, but this one bops waaay better.
Ah yes. It was time for this song.

Wonder if he gets to play it on his show?
Insipid subject matter. And the style and instrumentation just ROCKS.
Some folks can make anything swing.
Gosh, Bill, can't imagine why you'd like a song like this. :)
Rocks the house.
