Lyrics:

All ancient towers will one day crumble into the sea
Defaced by armies
Intent on rendering obsolete

Just war, Just war
You said it wouldn't hurt
Just war, Just war

Is this just war?
Is this just war?
The last survivor crawling through the dust
And furthermore
Will evolution diminish right in front of us

Late September
I heard the siren call a truce
But by December
My head returned into the noose

Just war, Just war
You said it wouldn't hurt
Goodbye, sleep time
Cause surely, it's ain't just war

The last survivor crawling through the dust
And furthermore
Will evolution diminish right in front of us
There is just war

The last survivor crawling through the dust
There is just war
A contribution till humankind
Turns to rust
That is funny, this sounds more like Super Furry Animals than Sparklehorse.{#Stupid}

love it.
Pretty catchy tune.
I listened to this album when NPR did their First Listen article.  It looks like it's still up:

Exclusive First Listen: Danger Mouse And Sparklehorse Team Up With David Lynch

Unfortunately, this was the only song that really grabbed me.  Going to give it another listen.

rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...copyright.  -.-
this song has such a cinematic feel to it.
I think Danger Mouse is being a bit repetitive! Si, Baroní! {#Bounce}
I recognized Gruff Rhys' voice and had to look at the playlist to find out what this is.
I am a big fan of all things Super Furry Animals, who btw have just had a new album out, "Dark Days/Light Years".

Very cool! Nice find Bill, and a very interesting story to this recording.

Yeah, not my personal cup of tea, but a brilliant effort that was amazing in many people's eyes.
