I too feel like Radiohead built up an enormous amount of credit first with The Bends and then, to a lesser degree, with OK Computer. Then they dedicated the rest of their career to burning through every last cent.

Yeah...still brilliant.
Much to my surprise, I quite like this. It might be that track you look for when the sun is right in your eyes on the horizon and you still have 2 hours riding to go. Monkey butt has set in, but you refuse to give in. This might just make it all bearable.

I think that this borders on the sublime as far as improv of The Groove goes. It creates a sinuous, circuitous, fabulous, fun soundscape!

Saw these boys live in 1997 when OK Computer came out, in a small venue of only a few hundred people. Absolutely awesome. Diana had just been killed in a car crash and the set opened with Airbag.... I was probably in the presence of Small Gods. Sadly, I just find it too difficult to follow their later stuff and they are drifting away from me. Music shouldn't be that inaccessible and Yorkie is just too scruffy and mad looking. Sorry boys.

Love this band, love how they grow on their own accord, not according to some popular trend, and yet remain enormously popular. Because they are freaking great at what they do.

Hah, I didn't realize I had dreamt about this song last night until I heard it now. In the dream it was just me and my wife sitting listening to it like we used to do once in awhile with music; drink wine, smoke cigarettes, listen to cool music and talk. We will again as soon as the kid or kids grow up (minus the wine and cigs). I'll have to buy this song and play it for her.

I'll probably tweak a few spots here and there over the week just to add more depth to it, but this is basically the finished product. It's an 11"X14" drawing done with a mechanical pencil and blending stumps on cream colored paper. Approx. 18 hours went into this piece. Thanks for looking!
