I'll be your thief in the night so I can steal you
I'll be your church where you pray so I can heal you
I'll be your lover where you lay so I can feel you
I'll be your sunlight in your day so I can see you

Oh, oh
You'll be my life when I'm dead
I'll be your calm in the storm ahead

You'll be the beat in my heart when there is none
You'll be the air in my lungs when my breath is done
You'll be the tears I can't cry when you're weeping
You're my only desire to keep from sleeping

You'll be my life when I'm dead
I'll be your calm in the storm ahead

Tell my woman that I'll try
To stay closer by her side

You'll my life when I'm dead
I'll be your calm in the storm ahead
Tell my woman that i'll try
To stay closer by her side

Reminds me of a Jack white or black keys variation
I saw these people twice at the Rhythm & Blues Night in Groningen (NL) and both gigs were fantastic. Love it!
The first chords sound like a song from The Black Keys🧐
Having sex with a Haunted Heart is hot sex, without fail.
Goat shit!
I like how they change the time signatures in this song. Crispy little tune....

Like this! Love Crocodile Tears even better! I like how they rock out old-school, and dig how they Blues it all up, like The Greenhornes!

ya and shortbread too!
They are indeed a talented, inspired bluesy duo, and I sure hope to see them jam one of these days! In the meantime, I'm happy to watch this really cool video of them "jam in the van" in Austin a few years ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUPyVAdbnag
Just saw them at The Borderline in London (great little club) and they were astoundingly good. Amazing how much sound they can make for just the two of them. If you get the chance to see them, particularly in a small venue, then do - they are really great live.
Loved Florence>Annie seque, excellent red head vocalist from different times.
It was great to finally see these guys live in Orangevale, CA last Saturday. Great show!

CERTAINLY!

And the La's is definitely an 11 (whole album actually).

I hate it when I agree with you. You're usually a stone bringdown, Stingy—but this time you're dead on.

Saw them live in  scottsdale  in june on our south usa roadtrip.
Great voice Tom has live  and  great performance.
One of the many  highlights there.
Great music!

Dig it!

Get the album.  Every song is great.
Great Band!  Looking forward to the new album coming soon.
for me they were THE discovery on RP in 2013.I heard tons of good music here, but little hurricane, wow with just two people to make this music,so good.
Have they done anything else? Would be good to hear it!
Good stuff, reminds me of Television which is who all those other guys remind me of.
Free download of the song on their website. Love it.
I've been thinking for a year and a half that this was Arctic Monkeys, till Bill said today that it was Little Hurricane.  I like it.  I like Arctic Monkeys, too.

I agree.  It's usually people who haven't really listened to any music made in the last thirty-five years who make claims like that.
I love this album.  Thanks for turning me on to little hurricane.
Wicked good beat I love good msic like this . Inovative.

Wow! Where do all these fantastic songs come from??

This particular one comes from a Taco Bell commercial. {#Hungry}

EDIT: As I look back at this comment, I see that the guy with a fork and his tongue hanging out might be construed to mean that I eat Taco Bell. I don't. Haven't been there in years. I will admit, however, that it sounds amazing right now, and even though I know it's sawdust that will take minutes off my life, I'm still craving it.

I'll second that bigtime. RP has been my musical saviour. FM radio sucks the big one, as youse across the Pond say, and without RP I'd never have been exposed to so much new (and old which I'd not heard before) music. A musical renaissance.

This song is seriously rocking and also, in conjunction with the video, seriously disturbing. The duo look so bland and homely, but plainly there's darkness in them there minds. 9 from the spooked Nottingham jury.

Great song, though!

There's a disturbing and minimalist video for this song embedded on the Little Hurricane website, and on YouTube, which is well worth a watch. Very derivative, deliberately so, of so many US road movies involving trailers, murders and desert burials.

FANTASTICO!
Sounds like the Arctic Monkeys, after their voices changed ;)

Agreed! Thumbs up to song & RP

TASTY NEW STUFF!  Reminds me of early Van Morrison work; got that soulful jazzy snarl and growl thing going on and deceptively simple guitar punctuation and behind it all a driving rhythm that swings and stings with satisfying punch...leaves me aching to hear MORE!
Reminds me of Chester French

Yep. Reminiscent of the Kooks, which is no bad thing at all, but with darker lyrics. 8 from the rockin' Nottingham jury.
