Here we are
Underneath a million leaves
In shadows of
Compromising scenes
When I was young
I dreamed this would be
Steamier
But I got one chance to move you
One chance to move you
So here we are
I'm running out
A source to let you down
I can't call at all
Or gain higher ground
Look overdrawn
Is all that so round
Is it easier
If it's the right time to lose you
Right time to lose you
So here we are
Here we are
Here we are
Here we are
Here we are
I got one chance to move you
One chance to move you
Is it the right time to lose you
Right time to lose you
Underneath a million leaves
In shadows of
Compromising scenes

Justin B has no cool band, and I is cutout of a real artist (yes he can sing, that is not the point)... and these guys are a real band, to point out the obvious... Some of the distortion/feedback work that the guitarist does is more creative that most, as can be heard on their first hit, Lazy Eye.
It all started so well... until Justin Bieber took the mic.
They've done much better than that, I'm disappointed by this one.

If you think that's strange, try listening to Delays (they used to get a lot of airplay here on RP a few years ago). Both bands are RP finds for me, and both are solid 8s.
'Scuse me, but I saw a few minutes of these guys on the tube the other night. Maybe I haven't been paying attention to the rosters of current bands, and surely I haven't read up on Silversun itself, but somehow I always thought — assumed — the lead singer was a gravelly voiced deeper pitched woman. Not a man. I like the band but gotta say he sounds a bit strange.

In concert, not nearly as mellow...Brian LIKES distortion!! Just saw'em in KC last week - great concert!
they sound a little mellower and a little like The XX... a 5 or 6 for now

Annoying drum beat.
Curiosity piqued. I make lists listening to RP all day. I go home and listen to the rest of the albums to decide whether or not to buy an artist/bands work in its entirety or just one song. I'll be going home to research this one.
quite nice late night party music.
thanks!
thanks!
Wow! Silversun Pickups meets Death Cab.
no sure about the variety in the lyrics, but the overall impression is nice cruising / chilling sounds - Like!
Hmmm, so far so good, I'm warming up to this. I should take the 'phones off and go to sleep, but would rather wait to see what's next.
They're only playing 'Bloody Mary' on the radio...just wondering when we'll be hearing something else from this album.
Could have been much better if the Radiohead styled music was accompanied by Thom Yorke's vocals...
