Let the water run shallow
'Cause I'm in over my head
I've been thinking that lately
We should tie it off
Put it to bed

In the sum of our shadows
Something's starting to slip
And the more we build it up
The higher it's going to get

Higher, higher
Higher, higher
Higher, higher
Higher, higher

I'll get the answer in one
Oh, I'll let the record run
And in a heartbeat forget all the words and just carry it on

I'll note the day and the month
As you throw your history off
And in a heartbeat be at the point where we'd started it from

Let the water run shallow
Take off the edge
I've been thinking that lately
We should tie it off
Put it to to bed
'Cause the more we build it up
The higher it's gonna get

Higher, higher
Higher, higher
Higher, higher
Higher, higher

I'll get the answer in one
Oh, I'll let the record run
And in a heartbeat forget all the words and just carry it on

I'll note the day and the month
As you throw your history off
And in a heartbeat be at the point where we'd started it from

Discovered them on RP and now one of my favourites, a very good live act too!
really like this.
Just brilliant music....keep on playing lots of ZB please!!
If you like this than you might consider Low Island.
Interesting album cover.
Quality
Thanks Bill and Rebecca for introducing this amazing band, I have been obsessing maybe a wee bit over them. If anyone likes them as do I, watch the Live At The Stables...brilliant footage!

Just so good. I love their sound so much. This whole album is great.
A lady, some wine, a beach and this song!!!!!!

Wikipedia entries say it isn't the same guy, But this singer reminded me of Choir of Young Believers (I know them from "Hollow Talk" being the theme to the TV series The Bridge)
this is a great CD.  love their sound.  another good RP find
Reminds me a lot of Booka Shade - In white rooms

Tuuuune

What a beautiful set - Alt-J, Fluke, Zola Blood. Well done!

Do the same sets repeat over time? I just heard same group of songs!
Loving this track and the whole album too!! Really gets the sub working in the car

Dowloaded the FLAC from their bandcamp page. Another RP inspired purchase.
Awesome production, easy 9

And so did Abebe Bikila run barefoot. Won two marathons that way.

Thanks for ruining this song for me.

Sounds a bit like Younger Brother to me. I like it.

More like Depeche Mode, really.
This whole album is excellent.
Very upbeat song… love it!
This is really growing on me, as well as the other tracks on this album.

So you're not exactly telling anyone anything they didn't already know.
What a beautiful set - Alt-J, Fluke, Zola Blood. Well done!

My guess is that the group name is a play on her name, but how silly would that be?

Good picks, all three! But I like this more the more often I hear it.

I keep thinking this is Alt-J when it starts out.

She was much loved here is South Africa... Tho we took some flack when she was accused of tripping up Mary Dekker in the Olympics.

another well crafted segue between the Fluke track OK and this new to RP tune...which I think is part of why I liked it enough to rate as an 8....the 2nd song just seemed to be an extension of the first.  Long Live RP!!
