Very Abbey-Road-like
Really come to love this track, classic Charlatans and one of their best, dare I say. 7>8
I like this, but I think it needs an acknowledgement of being heavily indebted to The Beatles - Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey.
Blackened Blue Eyes is my favorite tune by them!
Oh C'mon C'mon - its in my head for three days now.
Well this is a blast from the past. I think I like this better than their 90s stuff.
Fairly certain that these guys were called The Charlatans UK in Canada...at least that's what I recall from the good ol' Spirit of Radio days...
Hon, hon, hon!
Collective Soul anyone?

Thanks for the tip! Turns out the original drummer was Dan Hicks (of Hot Licks fame). Apparently quite influential, if not successful. I'm gonna look for some of their stuff.
c.
there was a much better band called the Charlatans back in the Avalon Ballroom, Fillmore days. It's a shame these little putzes took their name

Nice! I always enjoy the tasty jams from these mad Cheshire cats! It's something else of theirs I just gotta have! Thanks for rocking my world, RP and Charlatans!
Wow. Rock'n'Roll !

Thought I was looking at Mick Jagar on the cover of this album.
Easy 7 for me. A bit funky, and that signature Charlatans groove. Nice to hear something new from them (at least new to me).
