Rhythm of life jam nation
You realise all the time we wasting
You realise all the pain we facing
Please pour a cup
Feminine libation
My gosh we racing
Please sympathise all the lives we raising
Please realise all the time
Female energy
Drank a couple quarters on my chorus then I caught up
If I ruled the world, money stacks for all my daughters
Never asked for payment in the womb times 9
Now we see the blood on the streets times' trying
Feminine energy
Balance up the indestructible
In the vaginal
Heaven in thine
Heaven is mine
Spiritual lyrical
Mother sang sweet as taboo'rical kind
If I was astonished by the level of shame
Feminine energy, energy reign
Intuition and ambition
Intuition strange
Intuition and ambition
Running through my veins
Pour up the love let the healing begin
The birds and the bees
Ain't got nothing on me
The birds and the bees
Ain't got nothing on me

Famble a beg you listen me
A beg you open your yhes for
Yhere waitin e dey say
Waitin e dey talk
Na serious talk I dey talk oh
No be trangayhes pikin
Listen
In dis wol we dey oh
Memba say ya
One day go cam
Wen we all go go
Before long we go meet
Mama God oh
When we meet mama God oh
Tell me waitin you go say?
Rhythm of life jam nation
You realise all the time we wasting
You realise all the pain we facing
Please pour a cup
Feminine libation
My gosh we racing
Please sympathise all the lives we raising
Please realise all the time
Female energy
One shot two shot three times sorrows
Carry all the weight of the world on your shoulders
Give a couple crowns to the women who had bore us
Taught us
Focus
Love and support us
Magical, umbilical my universe is radical
Introduce the nation to embracing what is factual
Feminine energy almost mathematical
You can't really sum up what is infinite and valuable
Feminine energy
Balance up the indestructible
In the vaginal
Heaven in thine
She sing a melody to pass the time
Give us her energy so she heal mine
If I was astonished by the level of shame
Feminine energy never shame again
Reign, tamed
Brain, praying
Intuition and ambition running through my veins
Pour up the love let the healing begin
The birds and the bees
Ain't got nothing on me

Ain't got nothing on me

The number of old, angry white men who voted this a 1 is quite astonishing. This is a groovy track, and has an interesting message behind it. I liked the pidgin English interlude about meeting the "Mama God" at the end of the world.

Hey look! It appears many of you now know how I feel when I hear that awful Tom Waits Hallelujah version used in every tv show on earth.

Love it.
And look, I’m a boomer (same exact age as Cap’n Bill, our our intrepid DJ)
Open your ears, eyes and minds.
Music is timeless and ever evolving.
Classics are born today as well as the past.
Maybe we need more acid these days?

I love this song. Thank you Radio Paradise for playing such a wide variety of music. You’re the only station on the radio where I can hear everything from classical to reggae to rock to rap. I wish more people were open-minded to all types of music. Why do people limit themselves to only one genre? They're missing out on so much great music. Keep up the eclecticism!
Great discovery ! it makes me think we miss some Linton Kwesi Johnson on RP...

I, for one, am hoping that all the negative ratings don't dissuade RP from keeping this song on their playlist. I'm not a fan of most Rap music, but I find this song quite likeable. Unlike most Rap songs, the lyrics are much more positive, in the vein of reggae lyrics. And the musical changes throughout work for me.
What I love about RP is the eclectic diversity of their playlist, so kudos to them for adding this song to the selection - haters be damned.

One thing I love about Radio Paradise is that I don't have to hear stuff like this. Let's keep it that way.
Wow, 1 is the most popular score? A little harsh .. it's not prog rock from the 70's, but my head's bobbin'. Easy 6.

The worst song played in the history of this station.
Funky! I love it!

Absolutely!
I'm sure all the classic rock and blues folks will hate this to death, but, I dig the variation and a different sound on RP...
Wow! RP be rappin
Just doesn’t do it for me
Never wonder why this is THE BEST radio station on the Web !!!
If I ever hear this again, it'll be too soon for me.
works for me!
Always something different. I like
I suppose it sets a level to encourage others to achieve for their aspirational 15 minutes of fame.
no thanks.
