The icon should show up on the main screen in the top right if any chromecast devices are detected.
There's a few things you can try if it's not seeing any.

- reboot everything  including router.
- check the date/time on phone.  Make sure it is correct.

Hello, Recently I noticed that on new RP app for Android there is no Chromecast icon for starting-up (and controlling) aplication on other Android devices, like Android TV or MiBox. It was a very good way to activate and control RP aplication thru mobile for listening RP on home audio system.  Is the lack of Chrome-cast feature on newest RP app masę on purpose (if so, what kind of purpose?) or Simple I cannot find this option on app menu? There were some hiccups Sundayish  depending on your timezone.   I'm currently able to download 12 hours on an s22  so  not sure what to suggest.
I'd be curious if you can download more on different channels.

Good morning. I've been listening to the radio for over 10 years and I use the app a lot on my android phone when I travel. However, in the last few days, I've only been able to download the program for up to 30 minutes. My cell phone is a Samsung S22 Ultra. Please I would like to solve this problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app but nothing works.

I believe that I have more information about the problem. I have listened to other music with no problems. I have rebooted the phone (including removing the battery) with no change. I have uninstalled the app with no change. I have loaded the cache using different WiFi system with no change. By accident, I listened without putting it into standby mode (to conserve battery life) and found that I didn't hear the crackling/static or slowing of sound. It took a while but after listening to RP with and without the phone in standby, I think that is the problem, When the phone is in standby, the cache is not read correctly all of the time (not sure what causes the delay and static yet). It could be just my phone or it could be others as well (this began after the last phone update).

Removing the battery from the phone did not help. I did listen to a song (the Samsung song) and it did not seem to have the same problem. I will try other sources of music next.

I am using a Samsung Galaxy 5 (SCH-I545) with Android version 5.0.1, Kernal Version 3.4.0 and hardware version I545.07. The last system update was on May 8,2015 and was I545VRUG0C1.

I seem to be having problems since the Android OS update. Every once in a while, the music will "blurb" like the ear bud plug is not connecting correctly. This occurs without ear buds as well as when plugged in. It is not as if the connection is being lost as much as the music is not playing at the right speed or it cuts out and has to play faster to catch up (very hard to describe). I originally thought it was the ear buds but I have bought new ones and used a Bluetooth speaker with the same problem. I will take the phone in to see if there is something else wrong but thought maybe someone else was having this problem.
